The Cathedral is a huge complex with a unique style. Plan to spend time there because you can walk around and you really need time to digest thr architectural solutions of the monument (of course if you are an architecture lover). Anyway, you should never miss it.

The only negative about the cathedral is that one now has to pay to go inside (unless for a service). It never used to be that way but one does get to see the artifacts, art and treasures of the place. A piece of the true cross, relics aplenty and lots of riches. A short tour of Mallorca´s saints and... More

An amazing place to visit, absolutely breath taking and in the middle of town with plenty to do after you've visited the cathedral.

This is a quite nice cathedral, with some interesting points. But nothing special if we compare with the other great ones. I thought there will be more Gaudi's stuff there...

A highlight of Palma, beautiful location overlooking the port. A really good audio tour was part of the admission price (7 euros per person). On entering it wasn't that obvious where the audio tour started but we soon worked this out and enjoyed a really good, well produced treatise on the history and developments the cathedral had undergone. Learning about... More

Large impressive Cathedral. Reasonable entrance fee. Negative point - we were a group of 13 aged from 60 to 13, and not one of us could work out the audio guides - it was impossible to tell which area you were in and what number audio you needed to listen to - everyone gave up on the guide and just... Having not been to Palma for many years I was keen to revisit the cathedral. Saturday's at 12 there is the changing of the guard just outside, an added bonus. The cathedral is entered and paid for at the side, and an iPod/ headphones combo given to each visitor. This was fantastic. We could meander around and be guided to... More

A very beautiful place to spend a whole rainy day inside! Audio guide is included in the ticket price and is a valuable tool to use.
