About
The San Francisco de Palma church is a good example of Gothic architecture. It was built between the 13th and 14th centuries and holds the tomb of Ramón Llull. On the other hand, the façade was rebuilt in Baroque style throughout the 17th century. The most important element is the Gothic cloister, which is unique in the Kingdom of Aragon.

This is a beautiful place to visit and take in what makes Palma so wonderful. It costs 5 euros to enter and there is no long lines etc. the plaza is beautiful as well as the basilica. Recommend visiting basilica.

Such a beautiful space - both the cloisters and the main basilica. Raining when I visited so the cloisters were a welcome shelter. But also v peaceful. Left wondering how many prayers had been uttered walking the lap I did. Then the main church is amazing. There were only 3 others in the building when I was there so it was v peaceful. I was able to sing Amazing grace - amazing acoustics in there. Just lovely.

Out of the rain or heat this is an interesting sight to see - one of many impressive churches in the city

I don’t know how this is only the 11th “Thing to see in Palma” way after the Aquarium and Mercat de l’Olivar on TripAdvisor.

The church is amazing and the cloister and the garden within is wonderful. Very clean and quiet. Skip others and go see this place, you will agree this should be higher up on the list.

We stayed next door so were well aware of the Basilica but it doesn't seem to attract the visitors its architecture merits. It does have a large school bolted on the side but this doesn't detract from the beauty of the buildings or the sense of peace, provided it isn't play time next door, in the cloisters

Lovely church with a beautiful garden in the old town. Not too difficult to find despite the maze of back streets

It's a nice church with a garden - we went there because of 'all churches pass' ticket we bought. For 5eur, it's probably not worth it.

The cloister was large and nice to stroll around but the church was only of minor interest especially since there was work going on for some sort of performance.
