Yes, this is a nice street with old architecture and a number of nice stores. But this street is rather small and does not compete on any level with any famous shopping street anywhere. There are a few boutiques, then the Zara, H&M and C&A, and a few more stores, but that is about it. Not much original or grand... More

This is a great place at any time of the day or night. There are lots of cafes and bars that are great places to sit and people watch, street entertainers stroll up and down the street through the evening. We went here most nights for a coffee or a beer and dint get bored with it. All the shops... More

This is the most elegant and delightful place in Palma to stroll and shop and luxuriate at one of the many outdoor cafes. Gorgeous 18 the century architecture everywhere and beautiful Moorish gardines and fountains highlight this lovely avenue.

The Passeig des Born is one of the principal shopping streets in Palma de Mallorca and one can find many high end stores here, as well as restaurants. It is very entertaining to see what the shops offer tourists.

Love love loved it so many shops and boutiques something for everyone's pockets from designer to chain stores many set in magnificent old buildings. A girl cannot get enough of this. Relax afterwards in many tree lined cafés also many more shops off Plaza Mayor if you want a change.

Central with small pedestrian streets running off. Busy with taxis and buses at each end. Main base to explore Palma from.

We arrived 18 September and in the evening walked out to find our bearings. Passing des Born was alive with street artists and various musicians. At the southern end a stage was in place and a three piece and played excellent music to a packed crowd. Everyone dancing and moving about, all smiles and happy. The whole street was like... More

Shorter and less populace than Barcelona's Ramblas, it scores as being that bit more classy. It is shady at times too and is a worthwhile destination near the palace and cathederal
