    Needs litter picking
Could be a gem. Nice sandy beach a short walk from old town Palma. Gentle sandy entry to the sea. Busy with locals enjoying an autumn sunny day. However it is strewn with litter. Large and small. I’d worry about walking barefoot. Broken plastic, whole bottles and even disposable face masks. It needs several hours of litter picking and then some care moving forward and it would be amazing. Most of the litter has washed in but some is blatantly just dropped and left. Terrible shame.

Hubby and I walked to this beach and from the MSC cruise ship shuttle bus drop/pick-up area, it shows on Google maps it's a 22 min. walk, but it felt longer, walking in the heat! We brought our usual large beach blanket and umbrella as it was a very sunny day. Hubby was dressed appropriately, but I was wearing a dressy top, and dress pants, so I felt out of place and got hot in them. with having no back support, it was a bit awkward sitting there. We did enjoy the sights at the beach, and it got more busy as time went on. There is some discreet nudity at this beach... not alot tho'. Hubby went to nearby restaurant/bar, but the prices for beer were high, for the one can he got. We used their washrooms at the end of our beach visit, but it is really only for people that purchase something there, which he did earlier. A bit later, when he went for a walk in the other direction on the beach, he came across some beer sellers, so got some cheaper that way. There was a lady that came around asking if people wanted a massage, and someone near us paid for one. The lady did a deep massage job, for quite awhile.

    City beach
This is a nice clean beach within walking distance (2kms) of the centre of Palma with plenty of space, services, and beds and umbrellas to rent (€15). The beach is popular with locals. The sand is fine, the water clear and turquoise and a promenade runs behind the beach which is used for cyclists and scooters. Overall, a great spot to spend the day which is easily accessible from the city although there are far better beaches on the island.

Beach not very deep but excellent for a stop and a swim a stone's throw from the center of Palma. Not too crowded. Available both as a free beach and with equipped sunbeds and umbrellas for only 19 euros. Convenient to arrive by bus too

Very dirty and noisy not only by cars passing very close, but also by people who used to play their music
at full volume, no showers or sinks, the only advantage is the proximity to the city
