Stunning view in the see, the mountains. Just impressive ! Apart from view, not much to do when you are there, just having a drink and watch, so don't hesitate to stop in the way in the other places where you can park and go walking... And a real nightmare to park at the cap, even in October : it... More

Strange place with buildings right where you'd expect to see the views from. It's like the place was only there for the cafe rather than the spectacle of being at the end of the island and seeing the amazing views. Very long treacherous road lined with rocks to get there. Oncoming drivers all seemed to cut the corners forcing us... More

We did a short, about 2.30 h hike on the cape, from on side to the other. On the road, just after the tunnel is a small parking place with a nice view. Across the street a sign indicates the beginning of the walk. After a descent, we entered a wood. After a while, we walked along a river bed,... More

A long and sometimes precarious drive can be rewarded with stunning views on a clear day, but be prepared for a lengthy queue to park.

We cycled here from port de pollenca during half term. The cycle ride made this trip as unfortunately the weather was too cloudy to see anything when we got to the end! The route is very steep in places but definitely doable on a road bike. We even saw some younger teens doing the cycle! The road can be busy... More

Worth the drive out to the lighthouse on a sinuous up and down road just for views at various points on the way out. Parking was a bit of a nightmare at the lighthouse as the car park was very small and parking on the road was being organised by two attendants. The destination is also popular for cyclists but... It's difficult to leave this place if you come there: beautiful colors of sea, sea wind, huge rocks.....

We drove along the Cap de Formentor on a sunny Sunday afternoon in October. Not a great idea perhaps! Magnificent views but far too much traffic to allow you to stop and see anything. Hairpin bends, steep hills and scary drops but the road is good with strong barriers at the sides so not really dangerous. However, lots of bikes... More

Oh wow what a drive. Exhilarating and terrifying, I wonder how often people plummet to their death. Once you start you have to finish. Beautiful views and a great experience

Cap de Formentor marked the mid point in our days excision. The ride up the cap is stunning and well worth it compared to driving to the top. There were large queues of cars snaking up the mountain with a long wait for people to visit the lighthouse and restaurant.
