I found this indoor modern market to be more like a small shopping mall with a few stores, such as Zara and franc, some cafes, a supermarket and traditional stalls. These offered many choices, including meat (mostly ham), fish, baked goods and produce. All products were...More
This was a disappointment as we travelled specifically to go to the market which I had visited 20 years ago to visit the lady who then sold the best artificial flowers we had ever seen. Sadly merely a memory now as the market was smaller...More
If you are interested in fresh fish, you will enjoy the displays and live prawns and the masterful knife skills of the people selling fish and preparing them for sale. Nice veggies too. Unfortunately little English spoken, so couldn’t ask questions about the fish or...More

Yes - there are some good seafood...More
This was a small soulless market. Nothing to recommend it so I do not understand how it has got such good ratings from other reviewers. I recommend you get yourself down to the pinchos bars for your culinary adventures.
This place is ideal if you are staying in San Sebastian and need to buy food, etc. They have a well stocked supermarket in the basement & in the mornings a huge seafood market plus fruit & vegetable stalls. The cafes within the complex are...More
Multiple shopping centre, some shops, cafes & super market. Went there a few times during I stay in San Sebastián. Shopping for breakfast and sea food, loads choices, high quality and cheaper! Highly recommended.
Fantastic municipal food market! Top tip: buy your veg from the downstairs stalls beside the fish in the fish market. Great quality, friendly people and everything super-fresh! Don't forget to stock up on some txakoli in SuperAmara while you're there!
