Lovely long stretch of gorgeous golden sand in a bay capped each side by an impressive mountain. Good view of the mountains from the beach and vice versa. It's a must to spend some time relaxing on the beach when in San Sebastian - it's food for the soul! :-)

To name one restaurant would be unfair, the whole old section of the town has wonderful eating and drinking establishments, also the buildings unforgettable. Close to San Sebastián there are 14000 wineries along the valley, some with modern buildings that will take your breath away.

We were struck by the whole experience of the beach. It is beautiful. Sparsely populated when we were there. It it rely fits its reputation as one of the world's most beautiful coastlines.

Safe swimming beach, shallow waters, wonderful malecon to stroll above the beach. There is a beautiful merry go round in a lovely park with statues of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza along the promenade.

What a stunning bay, beautiful sand, a fantastic traffic free promenade and a great back drop. Lots of bars and eateries nearby. We hadn't really brought our beach items but ended up spending the... I'd you asked a child to draw a perfect beach they'd probably do a circle with a mountain on either end (with a castle on one and funfair in the other) and an island in the middle. Adults would probably put a monastery in the island. This is La Concha!

Wonderful beach in a beautiful city! I wonder how it feels like in wintertime? We passed a complete afternoon sitting in a cafe overlooking the beach...
