We were there end of September and enjoyed a couple of sunny days. This is the perfect beach with a beautiful sandy beach, great restaurants and one of the best boardwalks I have ever encountered.

Cant miss this huge beautiful crescent beach. The beach on the other side of town is nice and frequented mostly by locals. This one caters to visitors.

Yes it will be open in fact nice to visit off season. Its a pretty large town not just a tourist place. But the weather is less predictable - oceanic influences mean wet winters and sometimes summers but its a beautiful town.
