Funicular starts near the beach on regular schedule. View from the top is amazing! Perfect panorama of the beaches and town of San Sebastian. Adequate restaurant at the top, as well as additional activities mainly oriented to kids.

The day we arrived, we decided to walk to the funicular, and take the ride up, since it was a clear day and teh weather forecast was cloudy and rainy for the rest of our time there. We walked along the beach to get there...More

Amazing views of San Sebatian from here. Parked near the tennis courts and took the funicular to the top. There were a couple of rides our children (12,14 &16) thought were worth a go but mostly these are more suited for younger children. For an...More

Took the train up for lovely views and some fun and walked down . A funfair and hotel at the top. Played a few games, took some stunning photos and walked back to the beach.

Definitely worth visiting to get breathtaking views of the city. Take the “fenicular”/cable train from the base to the top. Cost is €3.50 per person (return). We didn’t have to wait long to ride there or back. There is a WC and a cafe at...More

Over the years we have ignored this attraction on the basis of some negative reviews about it being so tacky and run down at the top. Well this year, as we were passing the sign for the funicular, we decided to go up. And it...More

A quick ascent via the funicular. At the top have a walk around, admire the view and enjoy a coffee. If you have kids there's a small fun fair. Pleasant for an hour or so. Its an enjoyable walk along the beach promenade to get...More

About 5 mins, nice views, and lots to do at the top, and that's if you just go for the different views! I would strongly recommend going up the castle tower to the Best View in the World, and afterwards have a surprisingly... More

We were in a tour bus that went up the mountain but the road is narrow. Otherwise, cars shouldn't have a problem.
