Six euro for 4 good espresso coffees and 4 tapas at 1pm en route from Salamanca to Lugo. We needed a toilet and break and got so much more. Better than the petrol station stop that we missed! Next time we will stay at the local Casa and have a night with locals and some whisky tasting. We even got... More

Called in for a nightcap after a night out in San Sebastián. Delighted to see they stocked my favourite whisky - with hindsight the lack of price list should have given me a heads up. €15 for a laphroaig Ouch.

Ridiculous selection of whisky. Although if you're looking for a cheap drink, it's not the place to go, it's still worth it for the experience. Plus their gin and tonics are a reasonable price and very nice. We had free pintxos with our drinks, some of the best smoked salmon we've ever had. The barman had enough English to accommodate... The collection of whiskey is crazy! And the selection to pick from to drink is very good. I wish there was more room in the basement where the live piano bar was had more room. Check it out

Across the street from the old city is a small bar/museum of whisky! My wife and I are not spirit drinkers but this was a warm and welcome spot on our stay! The two bartenders were awesome and we sampled two single malt scotches pictured. I also learned a cool ring and string trick and watched some intense mixology of... More

Their collection of whisky is impressive, so yes rightly so a museum. The ambiance is very cosy. Order any drink any drink you want. And dance the night away downstairs, although on holidays the place is very crowded, too crowded to dance before 2:00 AM. But definitely a place to visit!

The Museo del Whisky is not only known for a very large collection of whisky from around the world, also their gin tonic is well known. I tried it and it is very good!

The other side of my family are really into whisky, especially Islay malts. This place does not disappoint with a very large collection and downstairs is an old-school piano bar.

At 27 years of age we were certainly among the youngest people at the bar. The ambiance was as already said tavern-like and the live piano music downstairs was a nice bonus. First and foremost we came for the whiskey collection however and we did not leave disappointed. Ask for the menu and they will give you an entire bookwork!... More
