Situated right in the middle of the old town. Great stop for a drink in the numerous bars but a sun seeker will have to keep moving from shade to sun!

Often this is the place for basque traditions to be celebrated. From small groups playing traditional basque music that passerby's will join dancing to big gatherings ( often having to do with great food and hard cider, txakoli etc,.

Good place to take a break and have a drink before continuing your walk through the old city. Plenty of bars around the square and nice place to chill.

You can't go to San Sebastian without going to la Plaza de Constitution. Old architecture with always some events and of course many restaurants offering delicious Pintxos

Enjoy a relaxing coffee or sangria or lunch with pintxos (Basque tapas) in the former bullring in the Old Town. The balconies are all numbered, a reminder of its past history. A real sun trap & lots of great shops to explore after.

La Consti es situated in the centre of the Parte Vieja (old part) of Donostia and well worth a visit. It is a spacious and beautiful square with a number of pintxo bars where you can sit and relax on the terraces (note: it is more expensive to drink and eat on the terrace than in the bar). If there is a ´feria´ (fair) in la Consti while you are there, go. The fair might be dedicated to cider, to txistorra (a type ofBasque sausage) or whatever, but they are always great.

Plaza de la Constitucion is a great place to enjoy your drink (or have one of those funny "rollitos" deserts they offer), especially after a walk at the really narrow streets of Parte Vieja. You finally enjoy some space, fill your batteries and return to this amazing city later. The balconies are numberes, as people would watch bull fights from there. You could rent a balcony while a permanent resident was living in the same apartment!

The Plaza de la Constitucion is beautiful because of its uniformity and symmetry and it has what used to be the old City Hall. The other buildings have balconies with numbers because this was also the place where bull fights used to take place. The ground floors of the buildings have restaurants in the arcades.

And if you are lucky enough to have a tour guide, worth taking in the history and the meaning of it all.

This lively plaza in the heart of the old city is ringed by various restaurants and pintxos bars. It is a nice place to stop and grab a bite, as well as just to pass through.
