I love to have a goal when I swim. Here, it is very nice to have a beautiful island a few hundreds meters from the coast: great swimming!

Supposedly a more upper class beach than Concha beach, though I could see no difference in clientele. Smaller than La Concha but with similar facilities and the same golden sands

this is the best one of the 3 beaches to swim, the ocean is predictable on a high tide and when the wind blows hard, the only one where I would go for a swim.

We stayed in an apartment overlooking Ondarreta beach so it only took us five minutes to be on the beach. Lovely spot. Quieter part of town and the beach not as crowded as La Concha. Good restaurants, attractions and facilities close by.

There are two beaches in the Bay of La Concha, the main one is La Concha but if you walk further away from the Old Town and around a small rocky point on the bay you have arrived at Ondarreta Beach. We discovered it on...More

Hi Nic, I stayed at Txartel Hotel for 4 days. It is not in San Sebastien but not far (6 km) in Lasarte. Good breakfast, large, clean rooms. There is good bus service to San Sebastian. It leaves from near the hotel. All the... More
