Zurriola beach is a must visit. Ideal place for sun bathing and playing in the waves. Sometimes Zurriola is less crowded on the beach than other beaches. But having said that, he water itself is very crowded if you want to surf or bodyboard. Sometimes...More

If you need to surf within walking distance of old town Donostia, this is your spot...otherwise, you could do better. It appears to be a bit of a wave magnet, but it is mostly closeouts (but short barrels and airs are eminently possible!). Surf schools...More

The sister beach to the famous La Concha, Zurriola is not to be missed when in San Sebastian. Offering a different venue than the calmer Concha, this is where all the locals and travellers surf and take on the ocean. Check it out as well...More

Rough waves due to being more open to the sea and thus surfers love this beach. I wouldn't swim there as it is a bit rough and also there are two other much nicer beaches for swimming but this is surfers paradise.

Enjoyed this beach more then La Concha. Better waves, nicer sand and not as crowded. La Concha is fine but it's better for families with small children.

This is a fine sandy beach with good surf, which attracts a whole pod of surfers each day. Lifeguards are on duty and there are designated areas between flags which are reserved for swimmers and body surfers. The surf can be quite rough and one...More

Beautiful beach, sitting at the west end (in front of the Convention Center) in the afternoon, as the setting sun lights up the hill on the east side. Can get a bit crowded on a sunny day, but not too bad compared to Cadiz or...More
