Our All-INCLUSIVE Food & Wine (PINTXO/TAPAS) Tour, or our famous City Sightseeing/Cultural Tour given only in English by an ENGLISH SPEAKING EXPAT, who has lived here for many years and who has married into the Basque Culture. Please click on the link and visit our webpage so that you can see why ours are the best and most economical Tours in Donostia-San Sebastian and to make your reservation. As a visitor here for many years before my move, I know what information is useful, be it PINTXOS/Tapas, The City sights, how to Pintxo, Restaurants or outlying attractions. To do Pintxos right, you really need someone on the inside, someone that knows where to go on the particular day you are here and can help you get the most out of what is available. I will help you explore flavors, but nothing over the top, I am very traditional in my selection of local Pintxos and pair them with local wines. I do show you the most modern bars as well. My tours are designed to give my guests a great head start on this area, from the History and Traditions, to the PROPER way to eat PINTXOS (Tapas). I show you this city with an open point of view and make you feel like a visiting family member or friend, so that after the tour is over you feel more comfortable getting around the city and looking deeper into the areas that you are most interested in. I normally keep my groups small, so it almost feels like a private tour. If you would like a private tour please, contact us for pricing and availability. My tour is best done on the first morning that you are here.

We had only planned the walking tour through the city but after spending a delightful time with Keith strolling through the city, learning its history and finding out some of its secrets we were hooked for the pintxos tour! Keith is excellent at explaining the history of the area and the Basque culture. We went on a couple of other... More

My husband, adult daughter and I booked a tour; the sightseeing and pixtno tour and LOVED our time with Keith. Being from the US he was able to make comparisons between life in San Sebastián and the US that totally put things in perceptive. We are foodies from the Bay Area and he satisfied our thirst and appetite for the... More

Keith is an american who now lives in San Sebastian (his wife's family) is from the area. Being raised in the US, but with parents who are from South America and married to someone whose dad is from the Pamplona, I already had some idea about the history and food.... with that said.... the tour was totally worthwhile. My husband... More

Keith was a great host - very knowledgeable and relaxed and fun. We took our 12 year old and Keith was able to find him lovely things to eat as well. The pinxtos bars were super - we went back to several during our stay.

My friend and I did the combo tour - history and culture in the morning and Pinxtos into the afternoon. It was wonderful! A perfect, informative introduction to San Sebastian's Basque history and culture, a stroll round the beautiful scenery and sights, a friendly and lively lunch party with new friends from round the world and a taste explosion of... I echo other reviews of Keith's combo tour and would recommend going on the tour on your first day so you get a short history of the town and a feel for the Basque way of life. Keith has a very pleasant, open and easy going manner - a good pace in information and walking ... and a small group... More

My friend and I did the combo tour with Keith which included an informative summary of Basque history in the morning, followed by a pintxos and wine/cider tour. We had our eyes opened to so much during this tour and even though we were only there for a short time Keith was able to point out the must do experiences... More

This is a fantastic tour. Keith (the guide) is an American who has lived in the Basque region for several years and is well-connected with the food culture and the local pintxo bars. He explained the history, the language, the culture and local customs, and selected some amazing pintxos for us to enjoy. Highly recommended. Do it early in your... More

We did quite a few walking tours on our 6 week vacation and none compared to this one! We did the combo tour with Keith and were beyond happy with our experience. Not only did we get to walk around the city and learn about its history and culture, but we also received firsthand insight and tips on all things... More
