We had a wonderful experience with Taste of Spain from start to finish. We did the seven day tour, and San Sebastian/Basque Country was the second leg of the trip. Here are some of the reasons we most loved it: The People -- we were very fortunate to have a diverse and fun loving group of travelers on our tour.... More

My husband and I arrived in San Sebastian in the evening as part of Taste of Spain's week long ultimate foodie tour. We travelled on a very comfortable bus from Madrid and stopped at a parador in Lerma for coffee and then visited the Marques de Arviza winery in la Rioja. We had a very special, exclusive and delicious lunch... More

San Sebastian was the second stop on our 'Ultimate Foodie Tour of Spain’. 'A Taste of Spain' is a truly professional outfit, looking after all the logistics involved in transporting us around Spain. More importantly however, satisfying our thirst for knowledge (and wine) and our hunger to experience the real Spain with its fantastic food. San Sebastian is an incredible... More

San Sabastian is one of the jewels of Spain that is not as familiar to American tourists as the larger cities. This lovely setting on the sea is a perfect place for an introduction to Rioja and to salt cod. A Taste of Spain provided us with insights and opportunities we would never have found on our own. We loved... More

I miss A Taste of Spain already! This trip was a birthday present from my husband and I ended up traveling solo with a great group of folks and the best tour guide in the world. Cesar was a virtual encyclopedia of information(I bet he is a member of MENSA) telling us things about where we were what we were... More

We have heard so much about the glory of San Sebastian being the Culinary Mecca of Spain but it was not until we joined 'The Taste of Spain' were we able to truly feel it in the first person singular. The ride on a luxury bus from Madrid on Day 1 was painless and to break up the journey we... More

I hated leaving Madrid but the trip to San Sebastian was absolutely beautiful. We stopped for coffee along the way but the tour and lunch at the winery was magnificent. The tour of San Sebastian helped us get our bearings for our free time in the city. The cooking lesson at the Gastronomic Society was amazing but the Pinxtos Crawl... More

I have been dreaming of Spain for the last few years and wanted to focus my visit solely on the wine and cuisine. I stumbled upon the website and after reading the trip outline I knew that this was the tour for me. Since, I was travelling alone, the idea of having a group of foodies to travel with appealed... I can tell you that this tour is one of the best I have ever been on. The group was small and the people were all very friendly. Everything was arranged for us and ran on time and any special needs were catered for. We had a fantastic time at the local markets in San Sebastian and then really enjoyed... More

If you have any doubts about doing this tour - I am here to assure you that it meet all of my expectations plus some. I travelled solo so I was a little apprehensive but all my doubts were expelled as soon as I met the tour guide and the others in the group. I was blown away by the... More
