Diego took me from Donosti to Hondarribi where we tried the best pintxos ever! We also walked the Talaia Bidea, a trail with stunning views along the coastline next to the lighthouse. Then he managed to show me Sokoa, San Juan de Luz & Gethary. Mind-blowing! One place better than the other. Diego is a very well informed guide who would share with me bits and pieces of history, geology and so many good tips. The architecture is spectacular and the natural beauty of this corner of the world is just incredible. I strongly recommend anyone out there to go on a journey with Diego.

My wife and I reached out to Feel Basque Country to see if there was a way to arrange for two days of wine tours instead of just the one-day listed packages. Not only were they able to accommodate us, but the team went above and beyond. After learning what we were interested in seeing, our guide Jaime spent two days with us around the region, introducing us to the wine and the passionate people who make it. Each stop was different and, thanks to Jamie's relationships with the winemakers and their teams, the experiences were absolutely top flight.
Our time was so fantastic that we are actively looking at ways to get back and explore deeper into Basque country with Feel Basque Country in the future.

The tour we had with Diego was 10/10. My husband and I did a walking/driving tour of San Sebastian and Diego even threw in a few pinxtos stops along the way. Diego knew the history of the region perfectly and was very accommodating to our preferences/requests. 100% recommend.

Diego was our tour guide for a Pinxtos Tour through San Sebastián. We were a party of 6 in our 60's and are from New York City. Diego was absolutely amazing! He really knows his subject matter and is an expert on the history, culture and cuisine of Basque Country. Just as important, he really made the tour fun. We laughed and joked in between his informative narrative of his proud culture. We could not have picked a better guide. I will come back to San Sebastián, and I will definitely reconnect with Diego. I highly recommend him for anything you may need when you visit beautiful San Sebastián. He's the best!

A few years ago (2021), we did an experience along the Guipuzcoan coast and we were amazed by the experience itself and by the magnificent company of Diego, our guide. This new experience on the Vizcaya coast has been if possible the same or even more enriching because we have entered a part of the wonderful history of the Basque Country and as it could not be otherwise, our interest has been shared in company again. from Diego. Thank you for all your know-how, your knowledge of the magnificent places we have enjoyed and we hope to see each other very soon.

Our tour guide, Diego is a Basque Country native. He is very knowledgeable of the history, geography and traditions of this region and the country! He organizes state of the art tours, personalized up to the last detail. We went around many cities and towns like San Sebastián, Calahorra, Vitoria, Guernica, Santillana Del Mar, Bilbao, and we also crossed the boarder to France and visited Biarritz and Bayonne. We were interested in the Jewish roots of those towns and Diego organized special tours and made appointments with a local rabbi and with a priest to visit the places and the museum. Very efficiently planned, always on time, Highly recommended. He made our trip a lifetime experience! Five stars plus! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

While in San Sebastian on a week long holiday we decided to visit Lourdes in France and was advised by the hotel reception that Diego' s private guided tour to Lourdes would be a good option.
Diego picked us up at our hotel and from the moment we met him he was proved to be a respectful and professional guide.
His English was impeccable and his knowledge of the Basque Country excellent. He engaged with us in an informal, fun and pleasant manner.
In Lourdes, he showed us around all the holy and tourist sites including the Grotto, the three Basilicas and spectacular views of the Pyrenees and Lourdes from the top of the Funiculaire du Pic du Jer.
Diego created one of the best experiences of our holiday and comes highly recommended.

Wow...was San Sebastian great! And a big part of the greatness of San Sebastian was the food...especially Pintxos! That wonderful and unique experience that San Sebastian offers. And what better way to experience it like a native than with Diego! A wonderful native of San Sebastian who introduced my wife and me to not just any Pintxos, but the most iconic of this wonderful city. Even on a cold rainy night, Diego brought the warmth of his charm, wit and culture to our three hour journey into these little bites of San Sebastian culture. It was a great way to experience the city and this really cool multi-venue evening of fun! It would be easy to slog along on our own, but having a native guide us, made it that much more of a dynamic experience. Thanks Diego!!

Diego picked us up from our hotel bright and early, treating us to a fantastic day touring wineries in the Basque region and a traditional lamb lunch at A Lai Bar.
Showing us different landmarks from a local point of view along the way, it was like we were being taken around by a good friend with great conversation instead of being on a formal, regimented tour.
Diego is well travelled having lived all over the world, he has excellent communication skills, and his knowledge of the Basque region was outstanding. He is clearly very passionate about his community’s culture, history and connecting with his guests.
Always happy to accommodate any requests we had, we absolutely loved our full day tour and highly recommend Diego from Feel Basque Country!
Thank you so much Diego for everything, you truly made us feel special and made our stay in San Sebastian even more memorable!
