We are a group of local guides and Mountain Sport Enthusiasts dedicated to offer quality City & Mountain Tours in 3 languages (English, Spanish and Basque). We also rent quality bikes in our little shop in Donostia - San Sebastián. We understand that it is difficult to be fit all the year around and also that holidays may turn more expensive than expected. That is why, we are proud to offer Tours and activities of a wide range of prices and for all skill levels. Now, we also offer sightseeing tours with Pintxos and also Specialized Road Bikes and Electric Scooters to rent!

We were four friends travelling together, and decided to rent bikes for a day around San Sebastian. We found Basque Epic, and the owner turned out to be extremely helpful. The only bikes available were two mountain bikes and two hybrid bikes, all of good quality and functional. We also got helmets, a couple of toolkits, and a phone holder.
Unfortunately, we god delayed during our trip, so we didn't make it back to his shop before closing hours. We could have delivered the bikes the next morning, but instead he came to the office later in the evening to receive the bikes. Excellent service.

Great operation.
Hired Basque Epic for both MTB and Road with Iñigo in August.
First outing was a MTB route in Aiko Harria natural park. I rented a regular full suspension MTB but they do have ebikes available.
I brought my road bike and the second trip was a road route that included Igueldo. Awesome climbing and coastal views!
They get 5 stars because the service matches the riding. Iñigo communicated early, built a fun itinerary to match my fitness. It was a challenge ( i asked for it) but never over my head...and he knew just when to stuff my face with pastry and soda :-)
Iñigo's a great rider no matter what kind of ride you plan. He knows the area well and will take pride in putting a fun ride together for any type of cycling fan. Super Nice guy.
Matteo back at the shop is really friendly and helpful and the shop is super convenient and central.

Ditto Bob C's review and praise for Matteo's guidance on our ride. Great cycling from city to countryside with a return that included a water taxi crossing. A major highlight of my trip to San Sebastian.

We travelled with 2 other couples and rented city bikes to get around and see San Sebastian. Anders gave us top advice and recommended a few great bars to visit later that day. Very helpful proprietor of this well run business. Great value for money and very keen to assist. Thanks Anders! From your Welsh gang !!

We rented bikes for the day in San Sebastián. Great bikes at a very reasonable price. Even though we didn’t do a guided tour, he still proposed a route to us which turned out to be an amazing tour of the city!

Ander was definitely the best person we met in San Sebastián, such a delightful helpful and inspired Basque proud owner of this great little business. The “Specialized” bikes we hired were fantastic and top quality.
We were able to see so much more of San Sebastián and the surrounding areas given the excellent tips from Ander on where to go and what to do, he was so generous with his time!
I wish we had managed to do a group riding tour but it was fully booked. Dot miss this opportunity and book ahead if in the busy season.
Highly recommended.

We rented road bikes the first day and did a private mountain bike tour the second day with Matteo and highly recommend. The bikes were in great shape and well maintained, Matteo gave us a great route for the first day and was an amazing guide the second day. 10/10!

I had a great experience renting bikes from Basque Epic Bikes. They communicated promptly. They delivered the bikes as scheduled. The bikes functioned perfectly. If I'm blessed with the opportunity to return to the Basque Country, I will undoubtedly rent from them again.

Superb 3 hour e-mountain bike trip in the hills around San Sebastian! Matteo offered me the choice of an electric or a regular bike- both were excellent but I opted for electric. I was accompanied by a very charming and athletic Arti who was a brilliant guide pointing out local sights - including a major road bike race and ancient sailing ship fiesta. The uphill started on roads but we quickly got into single track- rocks, roots, drops, sand and mud. All tracks suited me perfectly - but every type of route available from the super expert to the timid. Stunning views of the ocean and down into the port. Wild jasmine fragrance. Couldn’t recommend more highly - it’s a great way to get your bearings and see all the amazing vistas.

Would like information on renting a bike that I will be able to ride the Camino del Norte from San Sebastion to Santiago. Cost, drop off ect.
