Just to avoid any confusion when looking on different maps, this small Church, located on the De Alfonso XIII Plaza next to the Miramar Palace often contains ‘la Antigua’ in its name “. Walking the perimeter, the exterior design is interesting and quite different from the imposing large Gothic-type churches we viewed in SS. Some of the photos of the inside show an interesting combination of old and modern, which we did not get to see firsthand due to their open hours being very limited. Online Internet searches did not provide much in the way of history. Unless you over in that part of town, it’s not really worth a separate trip especially if you don’t know the open hours.
