This was absolutely my favorite find on my trip to Basque Country. It's gorgeous and fascinating from a geologic perspective, and the trail is well worth taking a walk. There are several routes you can take and all of them give incredible views. Definitely worth taking a detour from wherever you were going. If you're staying in San Sebastián/Donostía, I'd recommend taking the N-634 for a really pretty coastal drive too.

Angel ,led us on an amazing journey thru time . His knowledge and enthusiasm for the Geo Jusassic Park was boundless !! I have lived on this planet for 72 years ,yet Angel opened my eyes to the amazing rock structures for the first time !! Spectacular rock formations came to life as Angel explained how they were formed and showed us historical "life" that was trapped in the limestone .
The caves, that were like being in a natural cathedral , were used in the Game of Thrones , but it took Angel to un-lock its real beauty for us .
The paths are narrow and step in places , so good shoes are recommended and is not suitable for people whe are unsteady on their feet .
After a really fascinating 3 hours , Angel took us to a local bar to try Zumaia's speciality - Octopus soup - it was truly amazing . Plus the local white wine Flysch Txakoli - a truly wonderful fresh , light young wine . A fitting end to a truly , not to be missed , experience

We stayed at the city of San Sebastien, Spain and this is only a half hour drive towards the coast. The rocks are simply amazing and a must-see for any international visitors.

Not recommended, weather was harsh and i couldn't see anything at all. Scaleless dragonfish reside in the area, they were quite frightening, which made my business partner scared, so we had to leave early.
