Do not miss this small but very interesting museum. A hidden little gem located in an old school gives a good impression about Basque history.

We had not seen any advertisement for this museum so were lucky enough to come across it while it was open. It covers the history of the basque region right back to early settlers and how they lived and survived. The museum is located in...More

This was a low key museum. You will enjoy this museum if you would like to know the history of Bilbao and Basque area.

My dad was of Basque ancestry. This was a great museum for me to visit and learn about the Basque people. Also you get to see the giant figures that go out on parades during festivities.

This is a small but really interesting museum about the history of the region and its people. It is located in the old town (casco viejo) and can easily be missed.

It was free the Thursday we went & if you visit the Casco Viejo, it's well worth seeing. The building itself is interesting & they have filled all floors with some great displays. The top floor has a detailed model of the region with was...More
