This tiny funicular railway is tucked behind the main street across the river from the Guggenheim Museum. Its only €0.95 each way and the views from the carriage and the park at the top are stunning. Definitely worth a look.

It was ally hot this July so we took the funicular also to get some shade and greenery, and we were suprised the nice park and view. Bilbainos pack their lawn chairs and books to spend the weekend. The Txakoli restaurant was excellent as well.

Great experience to see lovely views of Bilbao. For only €0.95 it takes around 5 minutes to reach the top. There's a small park to walk around to enjoy the views. It's only 20 minutes walk from old town or a €5 taxi ride. Definitely worth the views.

Worth it for the ride, if you just want to get to the top, there are buses! Great spot near the station for city photos including the Guggenheim.

The sad part is that the funicular can't be seen unless you are riding it. It is fast enough and moves people but the genius of its design and construction is a mystery. Cheap though😁

Really good value for money. I guess we paid less than 8 EURs for three persons and you get a really cool view of the city from above. Also there are some nice bars and tapas places in the area around the lower station that are ok in case of need of a light meal with some cold drinks. We... More

0.90 Euros for one ticket, 1.80 two-way and you will get the picturesque view of Bilbao City. Also you can walk through a small park, go deep into the mountain but i didn't go and can't give advices therefore. Was completely satisfied witn views and taking pictures for very reasonable price

The funicular was located only a few hundred meters from our hotel. It only takes a few minutes to go up and it's also really cheap (around 1 eur one way). The view on top is amazing and I would really recommend it when in Bilbao. You can also drive up in your car if you want.
