The Town Hall of Oviedo was designed in 1622 by the architect Juan de Naveda, who was an exponent of Castilian Renaissance architecture. There’s an arcade, bisected by an archway underneath the clock tower at the centre of the building. A nice landmark in the historic centre of Oviedo. It was just before Christmas when we visited and the building was beautifully lit.

We were staying practically next to the City Hall and the Plaza de la ConstituciĂłn. We passed by there countless times and with everything illuminated for Christmas it is quite a spectacle. If you are in the center and especially if you are at Christmas time, don't miss it.

The building was all decorated, with lots of lights, and a grand Christmas tree with decorations in the square.

Nothing special, it is ok a typical city hall like in most spanish cities but not one of the good ones.

The building is located practically at the entrance of the casco historico. The architecture of this building is very particular, but really elegant and majestic. You can cross under the main tower to continue discovering nice parts of the old city.

My wife and I passed this building several times and admired its very good architecture. There is a doorway to the back of the building that we passed several times. The building is quite elegant.

In line with the rest of the city. Beautiful and careful. It is located in a pedestrian plaza with a lot of life. Essential if you visit Oviedo.
