Great nature walk.

I went for a concert, they have life music often. Gorgeous gardens, with water features, very calm and relaxing experience. Great samples of Asturias flora.

Travelled to the gardens by bus from Gijon. Not as good as other gardens we have visited over the years. Slightly disappointing but the amenities were good as were the plant sales.

A nice open space in the surroundings of Gijón and a decent presentation with a good scientific background. This Botanical Garden started as a local must a few years ago. But R&D has not improved much since then and the actual management is more tempted by entertainment programs than by developing a brand for aficionados to European gardens. It is... More

Gijon’s Atlantic Botanic Gardens is located near the university, just a short walk away from the city center. Free parking close to the entrance. Beautifully presented and worth a visit.

This is a beautiful place to go and explore. You will learn a lot about the native plants and they also have fruit trees and veggie gardens, which are nice to see as well.

In early spring quite little flowering plants. Great area with good signs. Many sided area. Cheap and well planned

Jardin de las Islas is our favorite. July & August definitely good times to visit. Enough parking, nice cafe; we highly recommend, even on a not so nice day.

This is really _botanic_ garden. Looks like it would be extremely interesting for someone interested in plants - it focuses on variety, not on beauty.

I took the opportunity to spend a night at the botanico. They were explaining us all night animals and we were doing some walks around. I recommend it!

It's only a couple of euros to get in. Food was okay in the cafe (baguettes), though it was our most expensive meal of the weekend. The food plants section was interesting, the rest was nothing special - but it's a nice walk around.
