El Tubo is a very known neighbourhood in Zaragoza, where there are a lot of bars, restaurants and nightlife. We came here in the evening on Monday and up to 19h, there were a lot of people, so we could enjoy a lot eating some pintxos and drinking local wines. We walked around the streets and squares and we went to 4 bars: Gran café Zaragozano, Bodegas Almau, El champi zgz and Vinos Nicolás, which were good (a bit expensive some of them). A place, where you can go, if you want to know the nightlife in the city.

The group of several streets in the center of Zaragoza, between Pilar and Plaza de España, is known by this name. They are narrow and full of bars, most of them mediocre, the streets are dirty and full of tourists. Zaragoza has many better bars outside of Tubo

We had lunch here and it was great. There are plenty of places offering different options for food and drink, so there is something for everyone here. It can get crowded and loud, but it is all in good spirit. This is in the heart of the city, so don’t miss it when visiting Zaragoza.

The Tubo area is deep within the narrow lanes of Zaragoza’s Old Town. Many tapas bars and restaurants are located here. For a lively, authentic experience, head here after 8pm as that’s when things really start to get busy.

This is a wonderful, lively neighborhood. It’s actually a highlight from our entire trip to Spain. Don’t stay in one place too long. Order some thing small and bounce around from bar to bar enjoying the different tapas. We didn’t know what to order, or how to read a menu at Balcon and the waiter through his arms around us, and told us he would take care of us, and we ate like kings for very little money. If you are in Zaragoza, ask around to find out exactly where this district is and go have fun.
We especially enjoyed the egg/potato dish at EL BALCÓN DEL TUBO (best waiters!!). Don’t let the organized chaos for you. He will be fed, and have fresh drinks at your table within seconds. Extremely efficient.
We also really liked the mushroom tapas at El
Champi Zgz.
You’ll eat and drink well in El Tubo without spending a fortune. Loved it!

Timing is everything as most of the tapas bars close between lunch and dinner. The atmosphere is great. No one stays too long in each bar. Some you stand outside, others you grab a seat inside. Many of the tapas are the same from bar to bar. We really enjoyed La Tasca, Amy and Carmelo.

El Tubo is a bit of the alley of the little bars. In the evening it fills with boys and is littered with clubs.
It's definitely a more interesting neighborhood in the evening than during the day. A very nice place to have two tapas, an aperitif, a dinner or even just a drink to spend the evening ❤️

Right in the heart of Zaragoza is this little maze of narrow pedestrianised streets, filled with tapas restaurants and bars, all of which have inside areas and tables outside for open air eating and drinking. It's beautiful, atmospheric and fun. Stay in one place all night or go bar hopping with a Tapa or Pintxo in every place.
