3.5 overall. We two visited in Sep 2023. Entry was free with our Alcazar tickets. We enjoyed our visit.
Interesting written and video (with English subtitles) explanations of the history of the Triana ceramics industry and why it was located in the Triana area, as well as the production process. There are several large old kilns and many old ceramic works, including advertising notices.

When you walk past this place you think maybe it’s a small exhibit, run commercially and associated with one if the ceramic stores, or a least I did. In fact it’s an extensive exhibit, run by the city (& free if you show your Alcázar ticket). The centre has been created on the site of one of the major ceramic operations from the golden era and weaves around the kilns and other production structures from that time. The display is brought to life with excellent story boards in Spanish and English, numerous displays of different ceramic styles and video commentary by former workers from the site itself.Upstairs the story of Triana itself is told, equally fascinating. Not to be missed !

What a great place this was, to get a feel for all those wonderful tiles that make up a lot of Seville and other Andalucian cities. The Triana district was one of the centres for tile making and this is set in an old factory in Triana. It reminded me a little of the Jewellery Quarter museum in Birmingham - you got a real sense of how things must have been when the factories were open. It's only small, so you might spend an hour or two, including looking at some of the great ceramics on sale in the shop next door.
It has the added benefit of being a bit quieter and cooler - we certainly appreciated it after the sensory overload of the Alcazar and Cathedral.

It is a great place to understand the way ceramics are made. You can visit the rest of the fabric which was located here. There are videos which explain all the pathway.
In the upper floor you have a nice exhibition. Tickets are cheap (2 €) and it takes you maximum 1hour.
Entrada super barata 2€. Vale la pena visitarla y te lleva maximo Una hora.

Modern museum devoted to an ancient craft. We really enjoyed learning about Triana's long history of ceramics and how they've interpreted the craft over the years. Don't miss the upstairs exhibitions.

We liked the exhibits and learned a lot. We have been to several ceramic museums, many repeatedly. The building design is a pleasure. However, the air conditioner was broken or under-performing. We hurried through the last third because of the heat.

We went in by chance for something to do whilst waiting for some stores to open from 'siesta' and we loved it. There were excellent explanations of the pottery process (not boring) and some lovely examples of tiles etc. The entry fee is cheap and you have better idea of how the ceramics you buy, are made.

We went to this museum as something different and were pleasantly surprised at the well-done exhibits. We learned a lot about ceramics, especially about the firing ovens. Also the information about the culture of Triana, which has been so intertwined with the tile-making industry over the years, was fascinating. Definitely worth a visit!
