We walked along Paseo de Las Delicias and it felt like a really enjoyable experience. It's a nice wide road, tree lined, with many shops and some really interesting buildings. It's especially lovely as it's so close to the canal which is part of banks of the River Guadalquivir. There are some other worthwhile sights to see as well, including the Torre del Oro and the Costurero de la Reina, as well as a couple of bridges connecting the two sides of the city.

Historically the Paseo de las Delicias (Walk of Delights) is the main entry way from Cadiz into the city of Seville. Today it is a wide motorway filled with cars and other motorized traffic. However, down the road -parallel to it- there is a walkway for pedestrians right on the canalside. Part of it has recently been beautified, There are also some restaurants. Very pleasant to stroll along during early evenings.

Whenever in Seville and if time is not a constraint, you cannot miss a walk along "Paseo de las Delicias"! This broad promenade, on the right bank of Seville's iconic "Río de Guadalquivir", is absolutely compulsory! Awesome views, countless monuments, fountains, statues, the gardens of "Jardínes de San Telmo", "Parque María Luísa" and "Jardínes de las Delicias"! Start walking by "Puente de Isabel II" (also known as "Puente de Triana", near the "Plaza de Toros de la Real Maestranza") and continue passing by other famous bridges as "Puente de San Telmo" and "Puente de los Remedios", until "Puente de las Delicias". "Triana's" awesome riverfront, on the other side of the "Río de Guadalquivir", will be right in front of your eyes! Unforgettable memories to take home! Enjoy!

This is the road that runs parallel to the canal by the side of the road. It has trees cafe and bars lined along the road. There are also carts with horses.

Absolutely gorgeous walk along the river guadalquivir. Really lots to see and plenty going on. You can have a drink as there are a few bar cafes along the way. Well worth the walk and you can cross the bridge to the triana district.

This walk goes from the Maria Luisa park to the Triana bridge, by the river. I would calculate as a two mile walk. This walk is extremely pleasant if it is not a hot day and if you like to walk, of course.

Enjoy a relaxing walk along the river bank with the river boats going up and down the River Guadalquivir then stop off and enjoy a drink or two before continuing your exploration of this wonderful city.

Las Delicias Paseo is great for walking and sightseeing. We can enjoy the river Guadalquivir breeze and plenty of palm trees and numerous trees.
Along the way there are several bars and some important monuments of Seville such as the Torre del Oro, the Jardines del Cristina or the Palacio de San Telmo. With this hike we can reach the magnificent Maria Luisa Park, another site that is absolutely a must-visit in Seville.

You can go for a long stroll at the Paseo de Las Delicias, which goes from the Plaza de Toros to the Maria Luisa Park. It follows the Guadalquivir River, so it has good sights.
