- RoldanlopezNew York City, New York401 contributionsPassion and TalentPerhaps the best flamenco show I saw while traveling through Andalucia. The space is intimate without a bad seat in the house. Get there very early to get the best seating. Dancers and singers were outstanding. Blown away by the passion & talent. Get your tickets through their website.Visited April 2024Traveled with friendsWritten May 1, 2024
- John KRockville Centre, New York24 contributionsGood Flamenco ExperienceI had been here previously and seen a great show and when returning to Seville wanted to go here again and it did not disappoint. I think the <1hr show duration is also a positive (vs. a longer show during meal) when traveling with a child like I was. Felt authentic and reasonable value.Visited April 2024Traveled with familyWritten May 9, 2024
- _crifierrosOviedo, Spain25 contributionsA TABLE TO VISITHigh quality artists. Real flamenco. Everyone gives themselves up and has a lot of claw. The room is nice as it only has two rows of chairs and the second is elevated so it looks great. There is air conditioning. The local people's attention is very good, they are very friendly.Visited September 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten September 16, 2024

The whole show was wonderful but in.particular the dancers were superb. Been here twice this week. Its a great venue because you have a great view of the stage and about 80 to 100 people so its particularly intimate venue. I loved being able to enjoy the intensity of the show and the performers expressions footwork and movements.

Small and traditional place, with flamenco performances (1 hour long).
Musicians and dancers take turns on the platform, which is nothing more than a stage very close to the small audience.
It was different from what I imagined, the dancing gets aggressive at times and the noise from the tap dancing can be annoying (it's quite loud, if you're on the sides of the theater the acoustics will be inside your head - that was my case).
Arrive early to get a good seat (facing the stage or on the mezzanine).

All of the experience was marvellous, especially the performance. I was directed to la Memoria by the Flamenco Museo in Seville when I was too late for a performance at the museum. I booked online to be sure and went there the same night. They kindly accommodated me, and the service by the staff on the door and counter was personable and polite. First time for seeing a live show too. Wow did they deliver a treat for me. If I didn't quite understand what Flamenco was all about before, this show transformed that for me. This show is so close to the audience and I could not fail to feel the raw emotions, energy and passion the dancers have. Marta Arias and Juan Carlos Cardoso gave everything. My hands and feet hurt after each turn, and I did nothing. I also watched and understood more how the singer Sebastian Cruz and the immaculate guitar playing of Raul Cantizano all came together with the dancing to make a heady mix of pure dance, love and art. If you want to see and feel the real deal go to Casa de la Memoria.

The personnel were very kind. At the beginning they warned us about the baby like he could not want to stay during the performance or cry. So, they provided us the opportunity to cancel our reservation. The also made it easy to leave the performance early because the baby was really not comfortable. Thanks.

I booked this show through trip advisor; I was looking for a good place to take a friend who loves dance and flamenco. We both loved the show! If you book through trip advisor just take the confirmation email to the ticket office before the show to exchange for tickets. However, I’m not sure if it’s necessary to book early because we had friends who booked the same day and got into the show. I recommend getting there a little early as seating is first come-first serve; we ended up sitting separate on the balcony; still a great view though. They don’t allow photos until the last 5 minutes which makes for a better experience watching. Very passionate and exquisite performance— 1 singer, 1 guitarist, and 2 dancers (male and female.) lasts approximately 1 hour. Enjoy!

We passed by the theater today and recognized this was the show our Airbnb host recommended. Admission was 18 Euro for adults and 15 Euro for our 13 year old child. We did not expect much for the show. We were excited and happy to find out this was a high quality professional show. The guitar player and male singer were great, the male dancer and female dancer were true professionals with great techniques and emotional expression. We did not understand the Spanish lyrics, but were moved by the music and the passionate dancers. This was not a tourist show, this was a real Flamenco show performed by the best professionals.

What art wow!!!! The king, the other king and the one with the motorcycle!!!
The singers, the hell. The scandalous guitarist has to keep his wife happy.
They stomp in such a way that they have to have the meniscus to operate, what an amazing art!!!!!
The one who truly triumphed was TOĂ‘O.

We went to this flamenco show our last night in Sevilla. As recommended on our online tickets, we arrived 30 minutes early. We got our actual ticket at the desk then lined up until 20 minutes before showtime. Seating is first come, first served. There are 2 rows in a U shape around the stage. Late arrivals didn’t get great seats. There are some seats upstairs but then you’re looking down on the dancers.
There were 3 dancers (two women and a man), a singer and guitarist. Truly wonderful performances by all. And so noisy! Hand claps, finger snapping and great footwork. Show lasts an hour and was well worth seeing.

This was wonderful show! I was shocked how perfect this show is! If you are fan of rhytmict things you will love this. Performers are profesionals, dancers are really good and they do that with passion, so as musicians!
Keep in mind that you have to arrive half an hour before the show. Earlier you arrive, better seats you get! But you have perfect view from all seats!
I recommend!

If you want to experience authentic flamenco up close and personal, you need to visit this place. I was in Seville for a flamenco dance intensive and was recommended to come here to see my teacher dance (which BTW was amazing), but it turned out that they had some of the most amazing dancers there all the time, and I found I was there nearly every night of my 2 week visit. Loved it!!

I purchased 2 tickets online with my credit card. I printed out the confirmation page. Is that what I should show as tickets? Will I get an email confirmation?
Thank you,
Maggie

Hi, is there parking at the restaurant or on he street nearby?
Written August 19, 2017
Can't comment on the parking I'm afraid, we were staying near the Real Alcazar and strolled to the venue which took about 20 minutes, I guess it may be limited as its located in a pedestrian area of town, hope you go as its worth it!

It looks from the pictures that there are two rows of seats and that the second row is elevated so people can see better.
Is that correct?
Do you have a good view of the performance if you sit in the second row?
Thank you.
Written April 6, 2017
Dear DiverBob,
That is correct. The theatre is intimate so everybody can be close to the stage. We only have two rows and the second one is elevated. That way, everyone has good view of the scene.
Being a small room, also allowed us to avoid the use of microphones keeping the natural sound.
Thank you for your interest.
