The purpose of the Jewish Heritage tour is not just to visit key sites related with the jewish past of the city, but also to focus on all aspects of Judaism in Sevilla. The idea that lies behind my tour is to show you Sevilla through "jewish eyes". And for that we have to put into context past and present. Therefore during our tour, I will take you along an emotional journey where you will be able to understand and enjoy the uniqueness of Jewish past and present day life in Seville..

First, it is important to realize that in the years following the 1492 expulsion of the Sephardic Jews, both the Kings and Queens and the church virtually erased any evidence of the vibrant Jewish life that existed in Seville for generations. Given that fact, Moises...More

We were lucky to be able to tour Seville with Gershon, an incredibly knowledgeable, engaging and fascinating man. Walking through Santa Cruz, he made history come alive. We highly recommend him and look forward to touring with him again.

Moises is a fantastic guide. If your time is limited I would suggest you see the Alcazar and do the tour with Moises. Seville is a great city - it is too bad you won't have more time there.
