Overview
More
La Casa del Flamenco is located in the heart of the Santa Cruz neighbourhood, the former Jewish Quarter. The main courtyard of the palatial residence dating back to the 15th Century houses stylish Flamenco performances every evening. The acoustics of the premises are also unrivalled, as they allow for microphones and amplifiers to be discarded. Furthermore, the crowd is seated very close to the stage and so that you can feel all the intensity as the heel crashes to the ground. Every night, two dancers, a singer-songwriter and a guitarist from our roster of artists, all professionals with an impressive artistic background, perform popular dances and songs.

My husband and I wanted to experience flaminco when we were in Seville and were reluctant to do a dinner/show program where the focus would not necessarily be on the dance and the food might be substandard. Through our research we found la Casa del...More

I chose this place because of price (18€) and proximity to my hotel rather than recommendation. I expected something touristy but interesting enough. I was completely bowled over and overwhelmed by my experience. Although living in Spain for 5 years it was my first time...More

One male and one female dancer, a singer and a guitar player in a quite small and cosy venue. I think 30-40 people visited, seated around the "stage" in a horse shoe shape. What a passion coming from the performers! It was juste great. Also...More

Fantastic show. Well worth the 18 euros. Chose this based on research in Rick Steves book. Did not want to pay for overpriced drinks and food in other venues, nor take a chance on a spontaneous "free" show in some bar. The hour long length...More

It was a good show but did not feel Authentic like a previous show I saw in Granada. They were very professional but it lacked emotion.

Went to the 1hr demonstration. Was outstanding. The four of them really connected and we're passionate. Best flamenco I have seen so far. Get there 30 min early and may get front row but all 3 rows are very close.

One of the things we were most anticipating during our Spain visit and we were not disappointed. The small studio gives everyone a great seat and makes for an intimate show/performance. We thoroughly enjoyed every second of the show, especially the castanets, costume changes, and...More
