The Museo Mudejar is located in the beautiful Palacio de los Marqueses de la Algaba, which has a very beautiful patio. The museum is located on the top floor. The explanations in Spanish and English were very good. I admired the Mudejar ceiling there too. I learned a lot about Mudejar art in the museum.

You must spend the better part of a day wandering about this beautiful site. There is much to see and it should not be rushed.

This is a small, free, museum that exhibits some of the amazing crafts used by Mudejar (left behind) Moorish craftsmen in the years between capture of Sevilla by Fernanando II in 1236 and their expulsion in 1492. The geometry was amazing, as shown in woodwork, tile work, and others. Plus, as others have said, the toilets are immaculate.

We found it by accident, behind a market and we gave it a try. The only wow factor is the part that explains the different styles of ceilings and the skills required for those Spanish masterpieces.

The museum is one the tourist should visit. This depicts the old Moorish history which is left. Worth the visit.

I love Mudejar art and I really wanted to visit this museum but frankly I was disappointed. The coffers seem current or were so restored that you could say they had been built a few years ago.
