An old home for the elderly has been restored into a centre celebrating the works of Juam De Valdes and his son Lucan The church is the highlight of the building. Located in the interesting Santa Cruz area of the city

This building houses the most Velázquez paintings (3) in Seville along with a number of other outstanding artworks, fantastic although not very numerous. The church within the building is delightful and the cloisters are very restful. Spent a very enjoyable couple of hours. You get...More

Beautiful place and interesting history (audiotour). Very much worthwhile to see, especially when you're interested in (religious) paintings and ceramic tiles

We stumbled upon this and immediately loved that it is a hidden gem. Uncrowded, an oasis in a sea of tourists. Beautifully hand painted chapel, courtyard and collection of art work in a lovely part of town. The audio guide gives a nice history. Add...More

Quiet place and an interesting church. Also some good paintings. We missed out on the quiet a bit as a large (and noisy) school group was going around which somewhat changed the atmosphere.

If you enjoy the paintings of Velasquez, you need to stop here for a short visit. The chapel is also beautiful, especially the ceiling dome. The place is much smaller and quieter than other sights in Sevilla, and sometimes that's what you need.

Went for the free entrance today and glad i did for free. Nothing much to see here except paintings but it has a nice church in it with all surfaces painted.

I love Casa Roman. Many say it is touristy but I take all my customers there and all of enjoy. Best Jamon in Seville, Tortilla de patatas and excellent solomillo al whisky and it is right in the corner in Jamerdana street.
