Beautiful place to visit

This church is well worth the walk from the centre of Seville. The macarena is simply breathtaking. Beautiful interior of the church - very spiritual.

This Church has a great religious importance for Sevilla. It is the object of veneration, not all that noteworthy otherwise.

What a lovely church, we found out when mass was finished, had a walk and went back. It doesn't feel massive and intimidating like some so well worth a visit, it has a small treasury museum too.

During my 8th visit to Seville I finally visited this church and reflect ... why have I not visited before as a priority !! This church/museum explodes with history and information on Semana Santa that I didn't understand before. It's so beautiful that it takes your breath away when entering. The local people attending for short services during the week... More

Architecturally everything seems harmonious from the geometric facade with the four bell tower to the wonderful Neobaroque interior. Constructed in the 20th century the church contains the revered 17th century image of The Virgen de la Esperanza. The alter-piece is decorated in striking gold and silver in the classical style and the roof is Baroque but not overly ornate. There... More

Even if you are of no religious persuasion you need to take a visit here just to admire the amazing and opulent altar area and the equally stunning ceiling.

The less than impressive exterior gives a false impression of the inside - one of the most beautiful churches in Seville - well worth a visit and a moment of quiet contemplation.

This church does not look so inviting from the outside, however, the moment you step inside, the main alter and two side altars will leave you breathless.

The church is nice and very good keeping, also is free because it still working for the ordinary cult, not like the cathedral. but it is difficult find something more impresive than the cathedral and the Macarena is pretty far from this, so if you are just for few days in Seville leave this point in B plan. But this... More
