What a surprise once we got inside. We had finished a walking tour and decided we would visit Real Alcazar before returning to our hotel. We thought this was just going to be a building but it is so much more with buildings, artwork and gardens. I do not think we gave it enough time as we were slightly tired... More

I had high expectations and they were met. Mosaic tile in colorful geometric patterns, painted plaster reliefs, carved wood, middle eastern style archways, immense metal studded carved wooden doors, painted tapestries, views of the gardens, a collection of 16th century pottery. Somewhat weathered and worn throughout (like Sevilla), especially the gardens. But historically and visually rich. We didn't find the audio... More

8 of us enjoyed several hours looking at this outstanding building that shows a fusion of moorish and christian architecture. Beautiful rooms and open spaces, including the gardens. Seville No 1 attraction that should not be missed. Very reasonable price of entry (only 10 Euros each). Advise you to pre book to avoid the queues.

Top attraction of Seville (there are some other contenders too, but this is on the "unmissable" list)! Beautiful gardens and buildings. Needs 2 to 3 hours to visit. Cafes and loos, so the longer stay is catered for. Gardens are truly stunning. Great views over Seville too so some fine photos taken.

This palace is in my opinion the one that is in best condition in the region of Andalucia. The rooms of the old palace on the ground floor are absolutely stunning. The gardens are nice and quiet, but not nearly as beautiful as in Granada's Alhambra. That would need a lot more attention. Also we were not too happy about... More

This palace has great architecture. The gardens are huge! U could walk here for at least 2 hours. The decoration of the rooms is very nice, especially some ceilings! Must visit when you are in Seville.

The combination of Catholic and Muslim art, the intertwined stories that this region offers to visitors, the building itself is very interesting, a must
