We took 3 of the tours and had a great experience. Montserrat was amazing and I'm so thankful we got to spend time there. Also had a good visits to Granada and Seville. We definitely recommend the tours. The price is reasonable and it is nice to go in a smaller group than ships

We had a fabulous full day of touring the Pena Palace with lunch on our own in Sintra and then driving back to Lisbon along the beautiful coast of Estoril. We had time for wine shopping in Sintra and then on our final stop we were treated to Pasteis de Belem by our wonderful guide Herlander Lima. Herlander was very knowledgeable about the palace and the other area we visited. HIghly recommend Spain Day Tours from booking policies to the actual excursions.

We took the full day tour from Malaga to Granada and Alhambra. The Allure of the Seas ship tour did not offer both Granada city tour and Alhambra visit. They only offered one or the other. Our ride from Malaga to Granada was on a large comfortable passenger bus that took our party of 40 plus on a wonderful tour of the the Andalusia region. Our bus guide was an archiologist and his insights about the region, its history, and geography were priceless. Unfortunately, our tour took place just at the onset of the COVID 19 outbreak. Although, it was not yet a major issue in this part of Spain at this point, fewer people were on the roads and at Alhambra site. At the site, our group was broken down into 13 + person parties and we were handed over to tour guides with Alhambra expertise. Our guide was a university graduate specializing in sites like Alhambra. Her stories, group management, and enthusiasm enhanced what had already been a memorable experience. Following Alhambra, we stopped in Granada and despite the sparce crowds and limited business access, this too proved to be memorable. Overall, Spain Day Tours provided a wonderful experience, much better than what the ship offered and at a lower price. Had the price been higher, it would still have been a far better value and experience. We'll be back and ready to avail ourselves of their services once we can again travel safely.

Whenever we are on a cruise and have stops in Spain, we always look for tours by Spain Day Tours. They are friendly, professional and their tour guides are always informative. Malaga was a stop on a recent cruise. We have been there several times and were a little reluctant to book this tour as other reviewers have said it is a fairly long drive. The tour was worth it! Debbie was a great guide, full of information & kept us on schedule! The town of Ronda is very lovely. The pictures of the gorge that separate the city are nice, but to see it in person is amazing. We did a lot of walking, finding places that Debbie had recommended & a few we stumbled on by accident. After wandering through side streets, we found a charming café and had a wonderful lunch of tapas, and tomato and tuna salad with olive oil. The restaurant said the olive oil was produced locally for various restaurants and it was excellent! (Of course I don’t remember the name of the restaurant.) After touring Ronda, we headed to Mijas, which is also a charming town. This tour does make for a long day as other reviewers have noted, so we didn’t do much exploring in Mijas. We are glad we did stop there though. We pretty much walked around the square and found the chocolate factory that had been recommended. We filled our bags with chocolate and then sat down to enjoy some of their wonderful ice cream. We were back to the ship on time as promised. It was a wonderful day. Thanks for another wonderful tour Spain Day!
