Ayuntamiento (City Hall) is a building like no other. Situated in the city's Plaza Nueva, the Town Hall is a magnificent structure. The City Hall is wonderful big building on the Plaza Nuevo that we came across on the walking tour. Construction started in 1527 as Seville was becoming an important trading city. It later incorporated a more neoclassical stylings in its facade.

Most visitors will come across this building as they head towards Plaza Nueva but it’s interesting to walk round the complete building as architecture is different on either side (built in different periods). Certainly a grand looking building but as there’s no general public access I can’t comment on the interior.…
