- BluebellplasnewyddCardiff, United Kingdom2,040 contributionsLittle characterThis is a modern station set in the outskirts of the city. There is parkland nearby and it is possible to walk into the city centre along flat pavements. The station itself is not unpleasant but is unremarkable. Like most railway stations you will want to leave as soon as possible.Visited October 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten October 15, 2023
- Amers-MoWeston super Mare, United Kingdom26 contributionsGluten free food at this station!I was relieved and impressed to find a selection of gluten free food available at the cafe in this station. See pic! We then took an Iryo train to Madrid which was amazing! Staff everywhere to answer your questions and the train left on time - to the second! Gluten free cake and lovely coffee available on the train! The station is walkable from central Seville - about 20 minutes.Visited October 2023Traveled with friendsWritten October 27, 2023

Departure gates not posted until 10 minutes beforehand, leaving no room for error. Tickets checked twice on the platform instead of once inside the train, annoyingVisited December 2023Traveled soloWritten December 31, 2023

Opening in mid 1991 it provides for high speed travel to many cities. We used it numerous times during our stay and found it efficient with lots of services.Visited February 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten March 30, 2024

Today, January 11, 2020, the ALSA bus to Lisbon waited on the curb outside the main entrance, but not where the airport buses stop. It waited next to McDonald’s as shown in the photo. The ALSA sign is located on the door to the entrance of the bus.

Arrived late on after a lengthy walk and was delighted to be greeted by other weary Bears. 3am arrival and floor outside the station was honestly best floor Iv ever slept on; warm, flat and surrounded by my fellow Rangers supporters.
After a 3 hour snooze, we entered the main sleeping area of the place; the shelter of what looked like a Spanish version of RS McColl. Again, noise was kept to a minimum as hundreds of dishevelled Rangers fans slept off the beer, and slept of the emotions of a horrible defeat.
Upon departure, taxis arrived on time and took us on our way back to Malaga, which was our initial destination 8 hours prior.
Highly recommend.

It was 5:30am and this was the only place open in the station. The touch screens weren't switched on so I couldn't order. I scanned the QR code on the table. It opened a menu on a website. But you can't order from that. You must download an app. Once the app is downloaded you must find a code from your email. The app is not good. It wants permissions, location on etc. The menus on the app are not easy to navigate and my Spanish isn't good enough to understand how to add to my order. There is no option to change language on the app. By this point it was 6am and another cafe had opened so I quit trying and left. Also, the security guard kept walking over to stand by us. No idea why, we're well presented and it was easy to see what I was doing.

Very horrible service from several different members of Renfe staff. They do not accomodate rail passes whatsoever and are extremely rude and unreasonable. They do not allow you to go in the lounge with a first class rail pass unless you have a first class ticket which even after booking several days in advance there were no seats available on the day I needed to depart.

Wait wait and wait for tickets or information only to be told the train is full!
Stupid ticket system to join a queue to wait for a ticket or information. Over one hour we waited, only to be told that all trains to Cadiz were full and couldn't be booked. They could ha e put that on a sign or over a tannoy and I wouldnt have wasted my time never mind the tax to the Station. By the time I got through the queue just to be told there were no tickets I'd lost all my other carshare options.

A disappointing experience waiting in Sevilla train station, given the numbers of people transiting. Food options were very limited - no vegetarian food, lots of sweet food and meat and papas fritas! Many smaller train stations in Spain have better facilities. Happy to depart.

Hi, we are travelling from Seville to Cadiz tomorrow (Saturday) - leaving from Santa Justa. Are there notice boards or clear signage to advise of platform number - or can we find this out tonight online somewhere? I’ve looked but can’t seem to find anything.
Written July 19, 2019
It is very clear to understand on the boards.
Also there is always security walking around that can help you.
