My wife and I visited Seville as the first leg of our honeymoon in Andalusia in February of 2018. We're big eaters, and our hotel didn't have a gym, so by the time our bike tour rolled around we were very ready for a little exercise (to go with our history and more food).
Guillermo was amazing! He was kind, funny and warm. He was very concerned not only for our safety but also for our comfort and our enjoyment. He clearly has a love for the deep history of the area and he is eager to share it. He's a great guide, and we wish we could have spent more time with him.
We were worried about the bikes, partially about the electric element, and partially about the distance (we thought it was 10 miles each way- 10 KM was much easier). The electric motor was easy to use and monitor. The bike was a standard bicycle which had a small motor attached. As you pedaled, the motor pedaled with you. The motor did not run on its own, which made the ride easier, but still required work on our part. One of our bikes had a wiring issue and needed to be reset every so often, but otherwise there were no issues- if you can ride a bike you can make it to Italica. I should also note that I had surgery on my spine about 3 years ago, and have recurrent back pain. I brought a special padded seat, but would not have needed it as the bikes were comfortable.
Guillermo guided us around the ruins of Italica, the amphitheater, and the town of Santiponce. The ruins are beautiful and the grounds around them are well-maintained. While we visited we got to watch archaeologists clearing and exposing a building in the ruins.
After the visit, we went to Ventorillo Canario, across the street from Italica and dined with Guillermo over a delicious lunch. Follow Guillermo's lead! He recommended their pisto, which was great, and the cadiz, which had a nice fry on it, but was a little heavy for the bike ride. That said, we also had a serving of arroz con leche, so...
If you are interested in a beautiful bike ride, through pastures, across and around the city of Seville, and into the past Guillermo will show you a great day.
PS- As you're leaving Seville, make sure you take a look at the street art on the river walk on your way out of the city. It's beautiful, if less lauded that the street art scene in Granada.

Guillermo was a great guide to see us around some of the best Tapas in Seville. Picking out the specialties of the bars we visited giving us a varied and excellent taste of Seville.
Hearing about the local customs and history making the evening interesting, enjoyable, relaxed and fun.

What an incredible night we had! We took the tapas tour in Sevilla with Guillermo. He was the best! Walked the city between the restaurants and heard the uncommon history of the intimate streets as we walked. The food was excellent. Tried food and drinks that we would not order on our own and LOVED it all! Guillermo was an excellent guide. Enjoyed his company and the Sevilla experience he showed us. I highly recommend this tour! Don't miss out!

We had done the Madrid tapas tour a few years ago and had such an amazing time. So when we returned to Spain we had to try the Seville tour.
It once again exceeded expectations. Guillermo was an amazing tour guide. Not only did we have amazing food, we tried new and exciting things. He also was able to accommodate my vegetarian diet very easily that bit myself and meat eating boyfriend were thrilled.
We also learned so much about the history and sites in Seville. It is an excellent we rounded tour that let’s you get your bearings on a beautiful and fun city.

We had a spectacular morning riding our bikes in our way to this roman city so close to Seville. It was very impressive and so interesting to discover the history and the many anecdotes that Guillermo explained to us. We even visited some Game of Thrones´s locations! Lunch was delicious, in a very local restaurant; we followed Guillermos recomendations and we got full! We had lot of fun. The price is fair, the scenery is beatiful, the bike is good. We recommend this tour very much.

Excellent tour with very enthusiastic guide. A good variety of bars visited with different options of food in each. A great way to enjoy good food while also learning a bit about the city.

This is our second tour with this company. We thought very highly of their Madrid tour that we took three years ago. So we literally planned our trip so that we could make the Seville tour. We ended up being the only two on the tour with Guillermo and Guillermo exceeded our high expectations.
We did multiple stops, ate very well and ate multiple Seville and Cádiz specialities that we would have never ordered (they were fantastic). Because we were the only guests, Guillermo literally catered stops based on our interests. We couldn't eat straight for several hours. So Guillermo interspersed Seville lore, culture and architecture into the night. I found his story telling compelling. Guillermo was extremely friendly, gracious and warm. We even (unintentionally) met his parents.
We love Seville and I can’t help thinking that Guillermo’s wonderful introduction is a big reason why.

If you really want to learn about a place you need to meet the people, hear his/her perspective and let them take you on a tour.
We met Guillermo in the evening and took a walk to one of his favorite spots. Over drinks and tapas we formed a quick friendship and he guided us to a few spots that we wouldn't have known about if left to our own devices. This is a fantastic way to be introduced to Seville and I recommend doing it your first night in town - it will really help you get a feel for layout of the city, the food and the people.

We had enjoyed the Madrid experience in 2016 so I decided to introduce my twentysomething son (no category in the section below!) to the cultural delights of Seville with the Tapas Tour. Thank you, Guillermo, it was a perfect introduction to a beautiful city. I recommend this as a first night experience-it gives you knowledge and confidence to enter the older, more traditional tapas bars and, of course, it leaves you with a taste for more!

First time my partner and I had visited Seville. The Tapas Tour with Guillermo was arranged by our friends who had done the Madrid version. Guillermo (Giddy) was very knowlegeable, his English was very good and added to visits to 4 different Tapas bars he also gave us a little history to Seville as we walked around. At the end of the evening he also took my partner and I back to our hotel as we had no idea where we were!! what a gentleman. Loved the experience and would recommned this tour.
