ABANDONED/STOLE FROM ME

I was on a trip from Sevilla to Madrid. My flight was canceled so Iberia chartered buses from Autocares. It stopped at a rest stop in Cordoba. This was on January 7 around 12:00 PM local time. The bus left while I was in the restroom, leaving me stranded in the middle of nowhere. My suitcase was on the bus, containing my laptop & some other possessions.

My suitcase was then brought to a storage unit from the bus company. In spite of the company’s claims that my items were “safe” in a storage room, my laptop was STOLEN. This was presumably by a staff member; my on-site coordinators sent me a video of my suitcase after finding it; it had been REPACKED. Someone had the time to go through it and search for valuables. My computer was extremely valuable to me, & had two books I had written (I had not yet had the chance to back them up), along with several other things of personal significance. For some quick pocket cash, it was stolen & presumably wiped / sold.

Disgusting conduct by the bus driver / Iberia “chaperone” for not making sure all their passengers were on board before leaving. Even MORE disgusting that a staff member of Autocares STOLE my computer. I didn’t even take very long; I just had the misfortune of being the last one in line to the bathroom. I walked out and everyone was gone.
It was surreal. I’m still beyond upset. My on-site coordinators contacted the bus company, but they claimed ignorance & that the suitcase had remained untouched in the storage unit. What a joke. I don’t like to leave negative reviews, so I waited until my suitcase was found to leave one. Sure enough: theft ON TOP OF abandonment & sheer negligence.

DO NOT RIDE WITH THIS COMPANY! I would leave 0 stars if I could. Negative stars.

ATTACHED are photos of my suitcase (which was recovered) & my MacBook’s serial number. If anybody has a MacBook with this number, it was STOLEN!!! The third photo is one I took in Jaez (near Cordoba), where I was ABANDONED. I had to hitchhike to make it back home.

Autocares LACT is a great company! Their service is perfect, drivers were on time, vehicles were really clean and modern and the communication is very friendly and fast. Special thanks to Mar Valdivia in this case, as she was our contact person. Hope to work with you again in the near future.

Roundtrip Minibus Airport Transfer to Seville City Centre

Booked a roundtrip Minibus transfer for 10 people from Seville airport to Hotel Dona Maria and back and cannot recommend this company enough. Good value for money with no problems on either pick-up and good communications prior to and during our trip.

We were picked up from Seville airport in a Mercedes. Van as there were 6 of us with luggage. The transport was clean, comfortable and the driver professional and a careful driver.

I would definitely recommend this company

Vehicles spotless, drivers smart and respectful.
Office staff especially Irene exceptional communication skills.
No hidden extras.
Our back street destination was identified with printed map to assist completion of our journey. All happened in reverse 14 days later.

Excellent service
Met on time and friendly service. Driver didn’t speak much English but used a translation app on his phone to tell us about sights during the drive.
