I wouldn't go out of my way to visit this sleepy museum but it was a nice 30 minute diversion. There are some artifacts from the area and some rotating exhibits.

The museum has many interesting photographs but some, concerning wars, are rather disturbing. When I visisted there was an exhibition of Marlene Dietrich.

History and the beauty. its a beautiful city. i just loved to walk on the street of the city of famous Captain Coloumbus :)

I spent 3 or 4 hours one afternoon going through the Huelva Museum. It was well worth it. Their artifacts date back 5,000 years and are very nicely displayed. Huelva has a fantastic history and was a very important mining, manufacturing, and trading center since the Phoenician era. The museum is free on certain days, which makes it even better.... More
