Usually one would comfortably get in for a reasonable fee, however now back in La Liga, prices rise. I had to pay 65 euros for the Cat A match against Sevilla.
There are decent bars outside the stadium to lessen the financial blow though.

On visiting Granada, we when to watch the local team who compete in La Liga ( the Spanish top division ) We booked the ticket online and from start to finish the staff could not be more friendly. When we arrived at the stadium, we visited the club shop and club restaurant. Even though we did not speak spainish all the staff spoke to us in english and helped us with everything. They took pictures for us, showed us to our seats and even let us tour the stadium before the match for free. If you are a football fan you must vist here and support Granada Cf for the day!

Whilst on our Andalucia Road Trip our 15 year old wanted to see some stadiums. How fortuitous that Granada had a friendly match against Seville! This is not anyway near as plush as The Amex our local stadium at home! Dirty seats and very, very basic!

My husband and I decided to catch a Granada CF game while we were in town. We had a bit of trouble finding our seats, but that may have just been because this was only our second football game so we weren't yet used to the arrangements.
I can't speak much to the stadium's physical merits (we could see well from our seats and nothing looked like it was going to collapse, so that's always good), but I was impressed by the crowd's fervor. We had just watched the Barcelona v. Arsenal Champion's League round of 16 game at Camp Nou a few days before, so the bar was set pretty high. The Granada fans surpassed it. They were more vocal and active overall than the crowd at Camp Nou had been by far. As great as it was to see football all-stars playing at Camp Nou, if I had to pick between seeing another game there or seeing one at Los Carmenes I would choose the latter. The fans really made the atmosphere something special.
Los Carmenes would be a great place to take kids or people who aren't already football fans, as the tickets are much cheaper than they are at the more famous stadiums like Camp Nou and Santiago Bernabeu. We had the most expensive seats that were available when we bought our tickets the day before, and we still only paid 40 Euros each. I think the cheapest ones were in the 25 Euros range. It was a great price for two hours of watching La Liga football with the locals. Taxis are cheap to the stadium, too; we came from our hotel near Plaza Nueva and only paid 8 Euros each way.
