I love to use the segway, but for my girlfriend it was for the first time and she was a bit scared. We decided to take an Albaicin tour and we loved it that much, so we booked a Sacromonte tour for the next day.and it worth every penny. Both guys were really great: they gave us a lot of explanations and they took us in some places I'm sure we wouldn't see without them: we had the privilege to visit the cave-house of a local artist (very nice), we saw a kind of market full of people singing, dancing, drinking and selling hand-made objects (we bought an interesting bracelet for only euro10), we had a cold drink looking at Alhambra in an unofficial bar owned by a gypsy guy, went on narrow streets and saw a gypsy flamenco guitar player practicing etc And in all of this time, we felt absolutely safe! We were so delighted, so we decided to go by segway in Seville and used the same company, which was a good decision. When they heard we were their clients in Granada, they charged us only Euro 25/person for 75 minutes (90 in reality), while the competition wanted to charge us Euro 45.

I am an uncoordinated 54 year old who has discovered the joys of a Segway tour - thanks mostly to our fabulous tour guides. We were briefed and encouraged by our guides before being taken around the sites of Granada. This is the best way to see St Nicholas and the Sacramento by day. Can’t recommend this tour enough!!

This was the highlight of my time in Granada! Such a great and fun way to see the city. The tour guide Deanna was very lovely and helpful, making sure we were safe and had a good time. I highly recommend this to all!

"Billy" was a great guide taking us around some superb sights we otherwise would have missed. History and info all interesting and fun - not too deep!!
Timing, Segways, helmets, high vis jackets and training all good. Ideally located in town.

We are a family of 4 - 2 girls ages 10 and 12, and we were all able to learn how to use the Segway in less than 5 minutes. With this Albaicin and Sacramonte tour and our lovely guide Julia, we saw the sights of Granada that would’ve taken us 8 hours on foot and probably some tears from the kids (or maybe me) with all the hills and heat - all in about 2 hours!
I’m also afraid of heights and speed and had NO problem with the Segway. Julia was very patient and let me stop and take photos and explained all the sights and few few tricks to avoid the crowds.
Book this tour if you have kids and want to enjoy Granada!

We having never tried segways were both so pleased that actually very easy after we were given full instruction .
The tour was amazing and a fantastic way to see parts of Granada that if walking you probably wouldn't see... especially around the very tiny windy lanes... would highly recommend to all..

We had a fabulous two hour tour of Sacramonte and Albaicin at 10am on a Tuesday morning led by Marc. We were so thankful that we went on a Segway as this meant we covered a lot of ground going uphill and was able to see the beautiful Alhambra scenery from San Nicolas and Abadia Sacramonte. Marc was quite knowledgable and gave us interesting facts, not the boring ones. He's upbeat and very enthusiastic. The areas we toured are beautiful, very peaceful and quiet. The cobbled streets are so easy to manoeuvre in the off road Segways. We appreciated the way Marc gave us enough time to admire the scenery and take photos without our helmets and safety vests. We highly recommend this tour even if you have not been on a Segway before. My nephew has not been on one before and he found it very easy, not a problem at all.

Juan Pedro led our family and friends (group of 6- 3 adults and 3 children -ages 11-15) on an amazing segway adventure through Granada!! We toured the city then headed outside the wall to watch the sun set over Alhambra while drinking cerveza at an illegal gypsy bar! It was a fantastic time for all of us! Loved every moment!

Wow what a wonderful day! We arrived as 4 Segway newbies for the 1 hour tour around the Arab quarter (a lot of which is pedestrianised so we thought it better for the kids) After a really friendly welcome and a few formalities Gus gave us a crash course on safety and assessed our segwaying abilities and off we went. Would really advise this tour as we swept past so many collapsing people going up and down the narrow alleyways...it was a breeze for us!
Gus was so helpful and gave us a great commentary on the beautiful area. We had chosen to tour at 5pm in an effort to avoid the worst of the day's heat...but.... What no Mum wants to hear from the Segway in front.."mum I'm going to faint" So we swept into anti faint mode (it's happened before)
After a cool drink and a sit down all was good. The best thing was Gus' attitude through the whole thing, he was a star. So kind and calm. This without doubt added almost a half hour to our tour and he didn't even cut the tour short. Such kindness and professionalism is rarely seen, a genuinely good guy.
Suffice to say we will be back on our next trip in October to try another route.
Would wholeheartedly recommend this company, this method of touring the city and if you're really lucky maybe your tour guide will be Gus!

Where do we park the car nearby
Written October 7, 2019
I agree with James - either leave your car at the hotel or use the Alhambra car park.

Hi there! I'm thinking of coming to Granada in April next year with my son (who will then be 11 years old). Do you have any age limits to go on the Segway tours? A lot of places I know don't allow children under 12, however when we were in Prague this year we found a company who said it was ok as long as he weighed more then 26kg (or thereabouts) as otherwise the Segway won't react. He tried it and loved it so would really like to book this for him if possible. Do you have any age limits?
Written October 16, 2015
Hello! We have a weigh limit but not an age limit. For your son of 11 years old and more than 26kg there isn't any problem for ride in segway with us. For any other question, or if you want to make a reservation, you can use our email adress or phone number you have in our tripadvisor page. Thanks a lot! Juan Pedro, Ensegway Team
