All pretty expensive. Consumptions of the most expensive bars. Paying for beers at 3,45 € is not a receipt. They got used to the influx of foreign tourists and raised prices to the clouds. Five years ago this didn't happen.

This square is that of the Granada City Council. It is located on Calle Reyes Católicos in the center of the city. All tourist, commercial and restaurant routes start from here.
It has always been an open and popular square where a multitude of events and celebrations have been and are being held.

Center of Granada, town hall square. The square and surroundings are not of great value, but it is where the light show takes place at Christmas. Which is like the previous year and it doesn't impress....
It is on the way to Navas Street, full of bars, restaurants, wineries....a good place for homework. And next to one of the main arteries of the city C/ Reyes Católicos...
We return by tradition at Christmas....!!!

Plaza del Carmen was one area we visited more than once during our short stay in Granada. It is a really nice area, large enough for various events to take place and to walk around, sit down, visit shops and just hang out. We chose a couple of cafes in the area and had some tasty coffee.

Lovely old plaza. Town Hall is located here on site of a former convent- or two ! There are some excellent tapas bars on roads to the rear of the square.

While roaming in the busy city center of Granada, this is a nice resting place at a central location. One can sit for a while, have a drink and plant the next move. There is nothing special in the place itself, just a nice place to sit and relax for a while.

The highlight of this square is absolutely the stunning Ayuntamiento de Granada, the municipal government building.
There are local parades and celebrations held on the square, which makes it one of the most important squares in the city.

This is where it all happens in Granada. This large plaza is where all the groups meet for tours. There are restaurants and many shoppes around here. Lots to do and lots of people to watch.

The Plaza del Carmen is a really beautiful old square with many historic buildings. It is a pedestrian area and was beautifully illuminated especially with the Christmas lights. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby
