Plaza Bib Rambla is a spacious public square that teems with people and activities. An artistic fountain stands at the center of the square surrounded by decorative ironwork and colorful flower stands. Worth a visit, there is always something going on!

This square is located in the centre of the city near the Cathedral. In the middle of it a fountain stands and there are lots of nice old buildings around: shops, bars and cafes. We visited it during Christmas time and saw some market stalls with souvenirs. There was a large ice rink where lots of skaters enjoy this winter sport.

Perhaps it is the most popular square in Granada. Its origins date back to the Nasrid era and throughout history it has been a place for popular celebrations. Architecturally speaking, it does not have great things to see, but through its adjacent streets you can access a few of the most precious jewels of the city.

The "Fuente de los Gigantones" fountain stands on Plaza Bib-Rambla. Atlases support the upper part of the fountain - a beautiful photo opportunity. The alleys around the square are full of Granada life. Beautiful houses line this square.

Worth a visit.

Probably the social spot of Granada. The square is in the centre of Granada and near many of the wondeful historic sights. It was fascinating and really easy to find. My wife and I visited as part of a larger guided tour and found the experience enjoyable.

On the tour circuit, close to the Cathedral, this square offers beautiful architecture. Fountain and street lamps with a lovely charm. Unfortunately, there are still so many restaurants and terraces that take up a lot of space and smell bad because of their trash cans...

Attractive and busy square near to the cathedral that is surrounded by bars and restaurants with lots of outdoor seating. Good ambience in the evenings. We visited Gran Cafe Bib-Rambla for churros and chocolate for breakfast.

Waiters without any professionalism and with poor education. We ordered an ice coffee and they put it with milk, trying to change it, everything was problems and ill-mannered comments trying to justify the mistake, both one and the other waiter who attended us. Bad example for the profession. Otherwise all perfect.

Walked by this historical square with a fellow traveler. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from that border this square, however, we were on a quest to see more attractions on the day. There is also a nice fountain here as well, named Gigantones Fountain.

Plaza Bib-Rambla is Granada’s version of Madrid’s Plaza Mayor. Plaza BR, too, is surrounding by buildings and is a main hub for gatherings. The Plaza is surrounded by a rabbit warren of tangled narrow streets that—like all roads which lead to Rome—somehow find their way to Plaza BR. The Plaza features oodles of cafés, beverage emporiums, gift shops, and a chance to learn about the culture of Granada residents. Think of this as Granada’s version of Times Square in New York. It’s where people want to be, as should you. There’s no cost to enjoy this microcosm of Granada’s culture.
