- tamara34meSeattle, Washington3 contributionsLoved the Science Park in GranadaWe loved the science park. The WOW exhibit was beautiful. I’m not normally fond of taxidermy but the displays were artfully done in a way that showed how the animals would move. I’ve never seen anything quite like it. We allowed three hours for the whole park and it wasn’t enough. The human body exhibit was also very cool. I feared that my teenage daughters would be bored but they really enjoyed it.Visited December 2019Traveled with familyWritten January 7, 2020
- Mackenzie BCanada153 contributionsSo fun!We are two 25 year olds and we had so much fun here. There was a lot to do. There's a few different buildings: the main building with about four exhibits; one special exhibition building that probably changes; the butterfly conservatory which was small; some outdoor science activities; and one other building with a few different exhibits, some of which included lots of activities. There's also a lookout tower which was closed while we were there. Was a little confused with getting around the main building, but we hit everything. We were only planning to spend up to 3 hours there, but ended up staying for 4. It was quiet when we went, but that was good because we didn't have to wait for exhibits or activities. The only downside is that it is far from city centre; we took the bus and got off at a stop that was still a long walk to the entrance. There was a closer stop that we found for our way back.Visited September 2022Written January 5, 2023
- Fiona H6 contributionsCould have stayed all dayThis is an easy five out of five. The biodome alone is worth the entrance fee and the cost in any case is really cheap for what you get. The animal section and the space section were both v interesting and we could have stayed for much longer than we did. If you’re tourists with kids looking for something a bit different to going round palaces etc, the museum is perfect.Visited July 2023Traveled with familyWritten August 4, 2023
- Julia EGeneva, Switzerland34 contributionsDiscriminating against families with childrenMost unpleasant staff I have ever met. We were there with our two small kids, they had their small strollers (not electric ones). After buying the tickets, we were told that the kids could not go in with the strollers, which was understandable. We asked wether we could leave them in the lockers. They said no. We asked whether we could leave them near the lockers. We asked whether we could carry them with us. Response NO but they told us to leave them outside by the bikes on the street. They had so much space every where but they refuse to be of any help. Finally, they told us to leave them in our car. We walked with our kids such a long distance to visit this museum and as tourists we did not have a car. On that day the museum was completely empty and still there was no interest to assist us. They did not even feel pity for us and gave us the money back. We have been in so many countries traveling with our kids and their small strollers and never were told not to enter because of the strollers. Not only not to enter but just to tell people that they can not put the strollers in any corner. I have never experience so little support to families with kids. Very bad people and very unfriendly child policies. By the way the guard a well built guy sat in a quite big locked office and even he was not willing to allow us to drop the strollers in his office. Most unfriendly staff I have ever seen.Visited October 2021Traveled with familyWritten October 20, 2021
- Bob GMurcia, Spain186 contributionsA must see in GranadaAllow plenty of time to discover the park as it is so interesting with so many different things to see. It will surely appeal to all ages. Very helpful, informative staff all around the park. Visited in spring, the indoor facilities are bright and large with interesting exhibits.Although not all facilities were open at the time of our visit there was still plenty to see and do. Give yourself plenty of time to visit.Plenty of water stations. Well worth booking some areas in advance of your visit at busier times in the season.Cafes offer good selection of foods. Plenty of very clean toilet facilities. Biodome was first class, although relatively small, it allows viewing the wildlife from many different levels and it is a great place to simply stand and watch all around you.Visited April 2023Written April 13, 2023
- MiniCheddar1085 contributionsBig thumbs up from a 7 year old (and the whole family)! It was amazing. I loved the Biodome where we saw somebody feed the poisonous dart frogs. And all the birds were flying around our heads with the monkeys leaping on the side. I also really liked the AI display where they had chess (my favourite sport). At the entrance is a black hole demonstration of how a black hole works using a ball that spins around. There is so much to see and do here. We went on 2 days and spent 6 hours on the second day. I highly recommend this place to small kids and everybody. [Review by 7 year old]Visited April 2023Written April 5, 2023
- rldsupport74 contributionsAnimal Exhibits Like No OtherThere were enough exhibits with English translations to make it worth visiting. Lots of children were there. The taxidermy was stunning of animals running as they were chased by predators was worth seeing in and of itself. There was even a taxidermist working at a bench on the upper level!Visited September 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten September 25, 2023
- SwampeastMikeCape Girardeau, Missouri3,207 contributionsEnjoyment for all AgesWhile a significant section seemed to be closed during our late August visit, the experience was nonetheless enjoyable. We caught the twice daily outdoor birds-of-prey exhibition shortly after entering and despite our poor Spanish caught the gist of what was said and enjoyed the show. An owl circled my head (I'm tall) and the eerie silence reminded me of the time an owl in the wild did the same to me at twilight and had me wondering about ghosts until I saw it perched just above me. The standout to us was the taxidermic display that finds large groups of predator(s) encountering prey mounted together as if suspended in air with mere points of contact. The gardens were fair to explore.Visited August 2021Written September 23, 2021

- SillySquash121 contributionsAmazing park! So interesting but allow plenty of time! This place was so amazing and I loved it so much. The park had so many things to do that I ended up having to go back twice. If you are looking for a fun, entertaining and interesting day out this is the perfect place for you and your family. This park is perfect for kids and adults to learn new things and have fun. There are some things that you do need to book if you want to go to certain exhibitions (eg. The bio dome) but this only so that places don’t get too overcrowded and not to cause a nuisance to you. There is something here fore everyone no matter what you like. But make sure you leave plenty of time.Visited April 2023Written April 6, 2023

I know we are in difficult times but we were able to visit the Park on Thursday. However, at no point did anyone tell us that half of the park wasn't open. No leaflets were provided if it was a timing problem. What we saw we enjoyed but the Human Body exhibit was closed as was the tower and the planetarium. Without a map to orientate ourselves there were no directional signs to tell you what was where. Very good about sanitisers and spacial awareness etc.

Great place to visit especially the Bio Dome. Wonderful for children, very interesting with lots to see and get hands on with. School parties will be there and maybe a bit noisy, but worth putting up with.

For all those wanting to spend a day learning in a fun and active way, this is the place to go. The park is huge and divided into so many sections. Go EARLY, or else you will not have enough time to see EVERYTHING!!
It is exactly what the name says. A Science Park for both adults and children.

Oh yes, and if you’re visiting the Alhambra and certain other attractions it’s a good idea to obtain a pass. Our hotel obtained passes for us before we arrived. It was worth doing. This is one such pass — there may well be alternatives, I don’t know...... look for Granada City Pass on the lovegranada website.

Hola.
