We booked the Autumn Package at the Hammam Al Ándalus, and it was such a great decision! The package lets you enter 30 minutes before everyone else, which makes for an amazing experience, especially if you’re going as a couple. Having the baths and massages all to yourselves really adds a romantic touch. The only downside is that you have to go first thing in the morning, and it’s a bit more expensive, but if that’s not an issue, I’d highly recommend it. Just keep in mind that they only offer this package once a day, so it’s important to book in advance. Later in the day, the hammam can get a bit busier, but it’s never too overwhelming. The staff is super friendly, and the only thing you really need to remember is to bring a swimsuit. If you forget, don’t worry—they sell them there. Also, a quick tip: don’t confuse the Hammam Al Ándalus with the shop nearby that has a similar name. Double-check the location on the map to make sure you’re headed to the right place. All in all, it’s an experience I’d definitely recommend for anyone visiting Granada!

From a Registered Massage Therapist of 32 years. The pluses: The atmosphere is outstanding. The decor is soothing, beautiful stylish lamps, archways, pools, columns, lamps and much, much more. If only other hammams in the world had such atmosphere. The staff are friendly but not overtly chatty. The location is amazing in central Granada. The negatives: For some it may be a negative because it is co-ed and geared towards couples. I went with a male friend and was automatically asked where were the wives. Expect a couples atmosphere. - male/female, female/female, male/male. - From a massage standpoint of view, it’s not geared towards deeper massage. - — Deeper work would require elbows and forearms to get deeper. When requested, I was told elbows and arms are not permitted by the establishment. The massage tables are too high to provide deeper massage We should have been forewarned it’s only a lighter relaxation massage despite asking to work deep Should you relax so much that you fall asleep and snore, you are woken up and told to not make noise. There is no traditional hammam of scrub, soap, defoliate the skin etc . Go to Marrakech or Istanbul for that. Bring your bathing suit. It’s required.

Came after a dusty day exploring the usual sights of Granada; once you've found the alleyway entrance it's wonderful, and better than the photos appear; the Hammam is quite modest in size but between the darkness and all the alcoves it seems bigger. It's a reconstruction of course, but if you treat it as theatre rather than a theme park you'll be in the spirit to have a great time. Would go again, and drag all my friends.

We were excited to try our first Hammam experience after reading everything we could about them on the internet. This Hammam has a beautiful interior and the pools and atmosphere are lovely. However, the experience fell short for us. It felt rushed, both our time in the pools and the scrub. To my surprise and dismay, the scrub is done in an open area while clothed in your bathing suit (mine was one piece), so the scrub that is supposed to be every inch of your body, was basically legs, arms and upper back. Definitely felt short changed. They put groups of people through in tranches; everybody into the pools (take turns getting scrubbed) then time is up and everybody out, so they can put the next full group through. There is mint tea available in one area, but it was empty when we went to get some. It didn't feel like an authentic Hammam experience to me. Instead it felt structured to push through as many tourists as possible.

I don’t like massage so we selected the option to just relax in the baths. All the attendants were very friendly, although we were slightly confused about how things worked initially because the woman who showed us the locker rooms hardly spoke English. Which is fair enough, but since there were plenty of attendants I heard speak very good English, it would’ve made more sense for one of them to show us around. But once we were in the pools, it was a very smooth experience. There is a cold pool, a hot pool and two warm pools. A bell rings when it’s time to go back to the changing rooms. We left very relaxed. One downside was that literally every other visitor there when we were was part of a couple, so I felt a tiny bit out of place, but it was still a really good experience

Amazing experience ! Very relaxing atmosphere and very clean place! We had a massage and it was honestly the best i had in my life ! i felt so sleepy after the session to be honest ! I will define be back in the future !!! I would love to say a big Thank you to the person who i had my session with but unfortunately i don’t remember his name anymore ! 🥲
