Modern interactive museum, which tells about the history of Andalusia from ancient times to current days. As opposite to the 'normal' museum, you can touch many things to see it working. Also have interactive screens, where you can listen the stories of typical citizens of different Spanish regions. Recommended to visit with kids.

Great guided tour given by the lady today. In Spanish and English. You get to see where Lorca did most of his writing in the summer. Highly recommend.

A gorgeus building by architect Campos Baeza containing a unique, contemporary and experiential Museum. Both are worthy a visit: the building and the museum itself.

We are avid museum-goers and have visited museums in North and South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and the South Pacific. In this way we can learn something about the history and culture of different places where we travel. This is one of the most interesting museums we have visited in terms of the techniques and materials used to acquaint the... More

The museum is new and has gorgeous exhibits about the history of the region. there was a fantastic exhibit of a Brazilian painter which juxtaposed his work with his fabulous collection of African art. In the morning there are school groups. we had the place entirely to ourselves in the afternoon. It's a little out of the way. From Gran... More

It is a very interesting place with very well designed audiovisual presentations teaching you about the history of the region. The visit takes about 1.5 hours.

The Museo Caja Granada Memoria de Andalucía is a museum that does not get many visitors, but it is a very good museum that has plenty of information about the history of Granada and Andalucía. There are many displays that explain geography and history. There was one exhibit that showed how they made the plaster casts to decorate the Alhambra.

This is a fascinating 5 year old interactive history of Andalucía, somewhat oddly arranged in that it is 4 galleries each arranged as a hands on pictorial exhibition with a written history in parallel. Interesting both for adults and children... very underused ... with an art gallery on the second floor in a rather lovely building. The Collection is nothing... More

This isn't really a museum - it's a place where you can touch and feel and experience the wonderful tradition and history that is Andalucia. Be it architecture, poetry, agriculture, plants, animals - it's all there. There are drawers you call pull out, knobs you can press and sounds you can hear - a multimedia experience (also in English!) that... More

This is an excellent, in depth look at Andalucia past and present. It is appropriate for all Ages and all the explanations are translated into English. A must see and visit!,
