Plaza de la Trinidad is a nice enough plaza with some lovely trees and plenty of greenery. We walked past it all the time as our hotel was literally around the corner. Many shops in the area and you will never be short of anything.

This plaza was close to my hostel (Lemon Rock Hostel), so I just happened to walk through it every time I was heading into the town center. The first evening I walked through, I was amazed - I thought there must be some speakers placed in the trees with artificial bird sounds. Nope, the trees just fill with very chatty birds every evening. This accompanied with the sound of the fountain make the plaza sound like you're in a rainforest. I'd recommend having a drink at one of the bars with outdoor seating or grabbing a gelato to go and sitting on a bench for a bit, and just relish in the sound of nature. Note, this was in October; I don't know if the birds are there year round.…

I don't know about references to hotels, as last time I was here it was most definitely a tree lined square, and a very pretty one at that, with the usual array of restaurants and cafes in which to sit out. A statue of a donkey also sits in the corner.

Plaza de la Trinidad is a pleasant plaza with plenty of trees and nice to sit and take a break in the shade. A few cafes around and more a local's square.
