Plaza de la Trinidad is a nice enough plaza with some lovely trees and plenty of greenery. We walked past it all the time as our hotel was literally around the corner. Many shops in the area and you will never be short of anything.

We stopped here for a drink and a snack . It is a lovely quiet spot with some pretty trees. We ate at Guerrero and we're given a free tapas.

Plaza de la Trinidad is a pleasant plaza with plenty of trees and nice to sit and take a break in the shade. A few cafes around and more a local's square.

Plaza de Trinidad is lovely, very chill relaxing place. However we had a bad experience in a restaurant there. It is on the side of the square, a big place with lots of tables, blue check tablecloths, and advertising bocadillos and patatas for 6€. We sat down, ordered two large beers, which came in plastic cups. We ordered lamb, and calamari. The calamari was seriously chewy, and served on lettuce, and the chops weren’t great either, they came with a few greasy chips and one roasted pepper. The bill for this meal was 56€, and unfortunately neither of us has enough Spanish to argue the point. I could not find a name on this restaurant, and when I asked the waiter he just shrugged. Very rarely leave bad reviews, but this time I feel totally ripped off, and this place should be avoided at all costs. Expensive mistake.

This plaza was close to my hostel (Lemon Rock Hostel), so I just happened to walk through it every time I was heading into the town center. The first evening I walked through, I was amazed - I thought there must be some speakers placed in the trees with artificial bird sounds. Nope, the trees just fill with very chatty birds every evening. This accompanied with the sound of the fountain make the plaza sound like you're in a rainforest. I'd recommend having a drink at one of the bars with outdoor seating or grabbing a gelato to go and sitting on a bench for a bit, and just relish in the sound of nature. Note, this was in October; I don't know if the birds are there year round.

This hotel is nice and perfect for a group holiday if you don't plan on spending much time in the hotel. It is very functional and in a great location but it was just missing a few home comforts (e.g. no full lengths mirrors).
That said, only first world complaints can be made as this hotel provides all the key elements for a pleasant "enough" stay.

I don't know about references to hotels, as last time I was here it was most definitely a tree lined square, and a very pretty one at that, with the usual array of restaurants and cafes in which to sit out. A statue of a donkey also sits in the corner.
