Only 79 cents for a glass of beer, 1 euro for a huge basket of crisps. We have visited this place a few times. Plenty of seats. You order at the bar, it's always very busy, but no surprise with the prices. Toilets supplied around...More
Really nice area with cheap eats and some thing for everyone. I regularly visit this area and have found it less touristy than Benalmádena but also quieter with lots of things to do. It's easy to get the metro to other areas compared to other...More
I cant put into words how much this made our short break so enjoyable, whats not to like, from the many bars and restaurants literally 2 min walk from your sunbed to the beautiful clean beach and sparklingly clean if not cold sea, idea for...More
This is a beautiful area with very clean and well maintained beaches, there are many places behind it where you can eat and use the toilet if you need, with no questions asked. I would however avoid the cosy corner as a place to eat,...More
The promenade in Carihuela is a hive of activity between the power-walkers, cyclists, scooters, OAP buggies, casual walkers and the rest of us..... It is also populated by bars, cafes, restaurants and the odd ice cream shop. The beach is immaculately clean and a few...More

The sea shore and the Carihuela area are not far from many places in Torremolinos. You can walk there fairly easily but it is a good idea to wear comfortable shoes as there are changes in elevation going down and back. A taxi ride should not be too expensive unless you are starting a good distance from the sea. Bus routes (like the M-110) generally run parallel to the sea shore so you can look at a map and get off where the sea is closer, reducing walking time. This bus goes parallel to the shore all the way to Benalmadena and to Malaga the other way, so it can be very useful.
