Not exactly Las Ventas in Madrid

I am an afficianado but the corridas are very second division. Rarely will a matador be on the bill. This is a shame because if this is your first visit to a bullfight you will be... read more

A modern plaza de toros with fantastic legroom and great toilets! I saw Ponce and Conde mano a mano and I would recommend the Hermanos de Miguel Angel across the road for a drink

We decided to pop into the plaza de toros while waiting for the flamenco show at Tablao El Arenal which was 5 minutes away. There is a dual language tour for a small fee. The tour takes you through the arena itself, a museum with artwork on the history of bullfighting in seville, the matadors' chapel, the stables etc. It... More

A well kept bullring, and a lovely place to visit. It's right next to the market so it's easily visited while you're there.

Not suitable for many since its a tragic ending for the animal, and it obviously goes against animal rights, but for those who seek something really "SPANISH", then you must attend at least once. Torremolinos bull ring is not very big but depending which bullfighter comes it raises the ambience, the crowd, and the quality of the Bulls. Place is... More

Our tour included a visit to the bullring, discussions of the context of bullfighting in Spanish history and Spanish life, and demonstrations of bullfighting techniques by a young 22 year-old man selected to be a future star performer. The tour was highlighted by a visit to the excellent museum on the top floor of the bullring. We assessed this attraction,... More
