Marbella Club Golf Resort is a perfect blend of nature, golf, horse riding, unique restaurant and service excellence. It is located in a beautifull setting with gorgeous views over the African coast, Mediterranean Sea, Rock of Gibraltar and Benahavis Mountains, only a few minutes drive West of Marbella. The golf course was designed and built by famous golfer Dave Thomas. It is a par 72 course with amazing tee shots, breathtaking views and excellent fairways and greens. Most holes are separated by forestry areas so in most cases the player feels exclussively alone on the course. Marbella Club Golf Resort is owned by the best hotels in Marbella, Marbella Club Hotel & Thalasso SPA and Puente Romano Hotel. Only guests staying at either hotel, resort residents and a limitted number of visitors are allowed on the course each day to ensure privacy, excellent service and a peaceful round of golf. The Restaurant in the Club House is simply excellent. It is elegantly decorated in a colonial style and it has a friendly atmosphere. The new menu launched in november 2012 is innovative and diverse, from a selection of sandwiches to the finest fishes and most exclussive wines.

We have just returned from a lads golf tour which included this outstanding course. It's a little way out but well worth the trek . Nestled in the hills the views are amazing and the course has a great layout where you rarely know where the next hole is until you arrive there . Quaint clubhouse, friendly staff , this... More

This is a fantastic course away from the built up areas of Marbella. Situated in the hills near Benahavis it is a real pleasure to play. Great scenery, challenging golf on a course in really good condition. Had the first tee time of the day and it was the perfect round; very few golfers on the course behind us.

The best and hardest course i have currently played at. Visually it is absolutely stunning. The course is demanding with many blind holes to play it is definitely a course that needs to be played a few times

A wonderful course that I had the pleasure to play as was staying at puente Romano hotel. This is a must play as it is included in your stay. Challenging but wonderful will be back again soon. Fairways and greens were a bit banged up but lots of maintenance people around the course to try and keep it tip top

somewhat secluded from the rest of Marbella but in a very nice and private location. Outstanding greens and good fairways although a few rocks here and there towards the bounderies of the fareways. Great views in particular the 18th tee. I mishit my drive on the 18th because the view was so incredible that I lost concentration (good excuse, no?).Very... More

Tricky to find but what a location. Thank goodness for the buggy! Someone had great vision to create a golf course out of the rocks and scrub but it's fantastic. The greens were very quick but the course in great condition, interesting holes, great views and the best we played in the area by a wide margin. The clubhouse is... More

We stayed 3 nights in this beautiful Hotel where everything is done to keep the customers satisfied. Great rooms, perfect service excellent breakfast (and Dinner in the Grill) and nice pools and beach. The gardens are wonderful and the walk along the beach a must. We'll definetely come back.

Having played quite a few courses around Marbella, this one really is a hiddem gem. It is a little remote, which suits perfectly with the small and cosy clubhouse. I like the smallness, you can barely fit 3 in the pro shop, compared to most huge compounds around Marbella. The course is lovely. We played after a few days of... More
